Ready Seal

WHAT IS READY SEAL?

Ready Seal is an oil-basd, semi- transparent sealer and stain in one. It is a unique blend of resin, pigment, oil, and algecide that penetrates deeply in to wood to protect and preserve it from the elements. Ready Seal can be used on all types of wood. Ready Seal can be used on all types of wood. Ready Seal contains trans-oxide pigments that provides superior UV protection. The trans oxide pigment help protect wood from fadingand graying. Darker colors provide more UV protection. To properly maintain wood, a light cleaning and re- coat are recommended every 2 years on horizontal surfaces and every 3 to 4 years on vertical surfaces. Variances in the product longevity may be caused by original surface condition, application of product, and geographic location. Ready Seal is intended for exterior wood surfaces only. 

SURFACE PREPARATION

  • Surface mus be clean of mildew, dust, dirt, oil, and grease.
  • All other stains must be completely removed by stripping.
  • Caustic strippers must be neutralized throughly with water.
  • Before staining, wood must dry completely. Allow 48 to 72 hours depending on weather conditions.
  • Protect against overspray and cover all plants and vegetation with drop cloth before applying Ready Seal.    

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS 

  • Before treating wood, test in a small inconsipicous area to ensure satisfaction with appearence.
  • Use a brsuh, roller or pump up sprayer to apply Ready Seal 
  • Blend multiple containers together to ensure color consistency
  • Apply two light coats of Ready Seal to wood surface. Allow at 45 minutes between coats.
  • Allow 48 to 72 hours of drying . Drying time will vary depending on tempature, humidity and surface porosity.   

Note: Actual coverage will vary due to surface porosity, texture and condition of wood.
