Hercules 1/2 Pt. Real Tuff Multi-Purpose Thread Sealant. Formulated with the highest percentage Teflon content. Provides superior lubricating and sealing properties. Leak-free joints can be tested and put into service immediately. Holds tight against vibration, expansion, and contraction. Brushable, non-separating, will not run or drip from joints. Soft set, no cure time required. For use on metals, including galvanized steel, black iron, aluminum, copper, brass, and stainless steel. Also compatible with PVC, CPVC, ABS, and plastics.
- Use on all metals and PVC, CPV, and ABS plastics
- Suitable for use with all liquids, including drinking water, and gases except for oxygen
- Maximum working hydraulic pressure of 12,000 PSI
- Will not run or drip from joints, is non-flammable, and contains no heavy metals or volatile solvents
- Particles fill cracks and thread imperfections for excellent lubricating and sealing properties
- Forms leak-free joints that can be used immediately
- Holds tight against expansion and contraction and resists strong acids, alkalis, and ketones
