Rectorseal Tube Pipe Thread Sealant is a yellow paste that is used for potable water applications. It is CSA Certified, NSF/ANSI 61-G/372 Specified, IAPMO 1282 Listed, UL/ULC Listed and UPC File No. 1282 Certified. It has a viscosity of 40,000 cPs, a flash point of 150 degrees Fahrenheit, a boiling point of 322 degrees Fahrenheit, a flammability rating of 2, and a temperature rating of -40 to 125 degrees Fahrenheit. It is applicable to aluminum, brass, copper, and galvanized steel.
- Lubricates and protects threads. For use with potable water (hot or cold)
- Soft setting, slow drying and will not dry out in the can
- Immediate pressurization on pipe up to 2 In. and 100 psi
- Lead free and contains no other metals. Permits easy break out with no damage to threads
