Meets ASTM No. S2949-71 standards and has NSF approval. 3 In. size (in-wall) is Schedule 30 performance rated. Polyvinyl Chloride. Lightweight, easily joined, modern corrosion-resistant plumbing pipe with highest impact resistance. Outlasts, outperforms, cast-iron, copper, or steel, yet weighs as little as 1/10 of outmoded materials. Pipe is cut easily and accurately with a handsaw, joins in seconds with a brush-on welding solvent or the new Geno-Weld system and the joint is stronger than the pipe itself.
