The DEWALT DW8700 is a Type 1 High-Performance (HP) small-diameter bonded abrasive cut-off wheel engineered for fast, smooth cutting of ferrous metals and stainless steel
- Coarse Material Removal: The coarse A24R grain configuration offers an aggressive cutting and grinding action on carbon steel, stainless steel, and structural metals
- Periphery Grinding: The 1/8-inch thickness allows the wheel to be used safely for grinding on its outer edge. This is ideal for cleaning up rough edges, removing burrs, or prepping welds
- Reinforced Safety: Features a proprietary resinoid bond matrix and two full sheets of fiberglass reinforcement. This design provides high structural strength and maximum operator protection under high speeds.
- Tool Compatibility: Fits 3-inch angle grinders, pneumatic die grinders, and high-speed rotary cut-off tools equipped with a 3/8-inch arbor flange.
