Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't work Followed the direction carefully and exactly as written. There appearred to be a packet inside the bag that disolved from the added water. Hower it attracted zero yellow jackets. I have four major nest, so I moved the bag within one foot of two nests. Still absolutely no interests from the yellowjackets. I think the scent is not working. I have used the reusable traps for years with great success. They yellow jackets go crazy for the scented packets. There was no instruction to add extra scent to the bag so i assume everything was included. It should have worked, was i supposed add more scent? What a sham!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn’t work I hung this within two feet of where the yellow jackets are entering under my porch. It has been hanging 4 days now and not a single yellow jacket, wasp or even a fly,

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not working as it usually does I have use the disposable traps for years now. I have always found them effective. I ordered 3 from Amazon recently. The one I put up has not done anything, which is curious as the weather here has been hot. Not sure why it isn’t working. I hate to give it only 2 stars, but was forced to fill those in.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not working at all this year! I have bought dozens of these in the past and usually fill to the brim with wasps but this year I have bought 4 of these from 2 different stores and after a month not 1 wasp has been trapped. I live on west coast in Southern B.C. and it has been hot and lots of wasps are out. Formula must have been changed or something? 40 bucks down the tube. Hope someone else has more success.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The worst Has been hanging for a week and yellow jackets are buzzing all around. Not one is in the trap. Waist of money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well for us This is the 3rd summer in a row that we have used these disposable yellow jacket traps. After preparing them according to the instructions, my husband hangs 4 or 5 under the eaves of the house and garage, about 10-12 feet apart. Before hanging them, we make sure to check all the eaves carefully for any nests the YJ's may have already started building. (YJ's and wasps are masters at building nests quickly in corners of eaves!) We spray the nests with a flying insect killer (like Raid) AND knock them down to be sure they can't be rebuilt. When the bags have hung for about a month, my husband takes them down, turns them upside down to drain the water (the dead YJ's can't get out along with the water because there's a screen to trap them) and drops the bags in the garbage can. Then we hang new bags. The system works well for us. We have hummingbird feeders hanging about 8 feet away from the back of the house (outside our kitchen window) and because yellow jackets would just love to get into the sugar water (but they can't), we make sure to hang 2 traps under the eaves across from the feeders so they won't bug the hummingbirds. The only thing we don't like is that the company has obliterated the sides and bottom of the bags with so much background and writing that you can't really see if any yellow jackets have been trapped until you take the traps down. Poor design.
