Blower works ok
The blower works as advertised however in backpack bag hose connecting to the blower came out of the bag and discovered it is only connected with a zip tie. Tried to repair with no luck.

Lasted one year to the day!
I bought this as my town would no longer pick up at curb which means bagging everything. This blower/vac lasted me one season and only a handful of uses. Tried using it today and it was no longer mulching, just sucking the leaves up. Then, the coils in the flex tube started separating from the tube and causing leaves to get stuck. Had to remove the coils and now the hose separated from the bag. So unless I can jimmy-rig something, it becomes a blower that I won’t use.

Bag to Hose Connection
The BBL7000 leaf blower/vacuum was working well as vacuum. It could use a little more power to suck up and break up the small twigs. However the hose disconnected from the bag. I used it 10-15 times in a 2 month period.

A very versatile tool
Here, we have a lot of cottonwood trees which shed clumps of leaves still attached to twigs all summer long. The blower works well to herd the leaves into piles, as well as to blow the cotton out of air conditioner cooling fins, sheds, garages, etc. I even use the blower to clear snow off my second story deck. Works well on up to about 5-6 inches of fine powder snow. No heavy lifting to throw snow over the railing.
The mulcher does a decent job of vacuuming up the leaves - provided they don't have too many twigs with clumps of leaves attached. Where the mulcher attachment narrows, these will clog up the tube. Need to shut down the blower and pull the clumps out by hand. When there are lots, it’s still quicker to lay a large trash can down, rake the leaves in and hand compact them to reduce volume. When there aren't too many twigs, the mulcher does a nice job. I’ve found the mulcher attachment most useful for cleaning up "leaf drifts" from corners, along fence lines, xeriscaped areas, and to suck up scattered leaves from other smaller areas. Hand raking large piles of leaves into trash cans is quicker, but with the disadvantage of filling up the trash quickly. Mulching really reduces the volume, perhaps 2-3X what I can do by hand, but it takes longer, and in an arid climate is much dustier.
My first machine came with the leaf collection system, with a cloth cover to fit over a trash can. One 30 gallon trashcan can hold an incredible volume of chopped leaves. But I don't like the leaf collection system as well as the Back Pack bag. The length of the hose limits your reach, so you have to shut down to move the trash can. The cloth cover on the leaf collection system attaches with a draw string. The force of the blower will blow it off the can and spread chopped leaves all over. I use a bungie cord to help hold the cover on the can edge - which helps some. You can also tip over the trash can over easily by stretching the hose a little too far - which again results in spilled mulch.
I like the Back Pack bag much better. When I fold the bag end over 3x I haven't had any issues with the bag blowing open. It is much more comfortable to wear than the old style shoulder bags. The backpack holds enough mulch to nearly fill a 30 gallon can. It's also faster than the trash can style leaf collection system due to your range of movement. Your only limitation is your extension cord. At the lake, I sometimes have up to 175 ft. of extension cord attached. By the way, both collection systems are interchangeable between the newer and older model machines. I will be getting another B&D to replace the older one that finally died this fall

Awesome product
This vac/blower is awesome and tackles any job you have to clear debris and clean your yard. I highly recommend this product as I've had owned this vac/blower for approximately 5 years and it is still growing strong with no problems.

Great Unit BUT
This unit has a great deal of power in either the blower or vacuum setup. The only disappointment for me was that the tube attaching the bag to the unit is connected by a plastic zip tie, my first use blew the tube from the connector and now I have a non functioning vacuum. Keep this in mind when deciding which unit to purchase. I've owned a B&D blower/vacuum unit since the early 1990's which worked unit it finally burned up this year. My past experience with B&D products led me to this purchase, it's a shame they decided to use cheap plastic in this version. Be forwarned.

Not Good
My problem Is not the bag, but the other end where the plastic hose connects to the machine connector. Whoever designed this Is either crazy or something. No matter how tight It Is It comes off. There should be a clamp or something rigid to keep It together. If I had know earlier I would have taken back for a refund. Never Again

bad product
Was purchased April 2019 used for two fall leaf blowing and mulching sessions and today start button was stuck and finally got it working for 10 minutes and it shut down. Is finished going to the recycle bin as it has failed with very limited use.
