Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly as Described - Great Price All my research on the internet suggested that the thermopile had gone bad on my Kenmore Water Heater. And the research strongly suggested to replace the overall assembly. TrueValue had the part number. Instructions that came with it were understandable. One minor issue was that the insulation on the new thermopile wires were much thicker than the old ones making the manifold component block almost impossible to reassemble. I had to file down the opening for the manifold component block in the manifold door, thereby enlarging the block opening. Not a huge task but it did take some time. I don't recommend trying to file the manifold component block to enlarge the wire slots. That metal is much stronger than the thin aluminum(?) of the manifold door.
