Poor design
I was delighted with this umbrella and its lights, until it rained. The rain pours through the wind gap in the red cover. This is a design flaw. Everything on my patio table gets soaked! Isn't the purpose of an umbrella for protection from the elements? Also, good luck trying to figure out how to turn on the lights, as there are no instructions on the accompanying tag. There is a practically invisible rocker switch at the outside end of one of the spokes. The lights are delightful. Take care when opening the umbrella! The cord is very tight and can snap, unless your help push the spokes up with your hand. Another design flaw. If you live in a dry area with no rain, this umbrella is lovely. However, if you want protection from rain, don't buy this umbrella!

Terrible, DO NOT BUY THIS
Bought this and it does not go up easily at all. Need at least 2 people min to put the umbrella up. Associate said it would be fine after a few times. But nope. I tried it by myself and when i released the handle, it spun back so fast i thought it broke my finger. Had to ice my finger for hours after it happened. Do not buy under any circumstances.
