looks nice but has cheap parts
i had to get a replacement unit as the latch became worn on the inside
and the knob would retract the latch all the way in.i got locked out.
had to get locksmith to open it.

Bad latch
I just installed this front door handle set. The latch fails to seal properly. It is so loose you can see daylight coming in through the screw holes. I have to believe the knob I have on the inside of the house is missing a piece. The direction Picts don’t show the knob from that direction for me to know. I’m a very unhappy customer.

Warranty replacement was easy...overall satisfied
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased, this several years ago, it worked great for years...then the handset broke; it would not release and for a while we were getting locked out (but the dead-bolt worked fine.) . I called Kwikset because of the lifetime warranty and the person told me what to do and made it easy. Replacement was in a reasonable amount of time and I have had no issues with the replacement. The key-alike feature is great.

Security from the best company I ever dealt with.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Due to a botched installation, my lock never worked correctly and ended up bending an important part. Kwikset asked no questions. My warranty was honored with a complete assembly: lock, keys, handle, knob, and all internal parts. The new set has been flawless for many years, as it adds both security and beauty to the entrance to my home.

Great Looking on Entrance Door
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received from Kwikset a new Chelsea Single Cylinder Handleset to replace one that had tarnished from weather and with the lifetime warranty the new one has made my entrance door after restaining and adding new hardware like new again.

Looks elegant
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed our new lock system in the dead of winter. It took my husband about 30 min. in total to remove the old one ( which was a bit tricky) and install the new one. Very simple yo install. It looks fantastic!
