Quality Product
Get the ambient temp probe also, and you can turn your kettle into a smoker. I have done spare ribs, pork shoulder, chicken, sausages. This is a quality product (not much of that around these days), and works exactly as advertised. I also use it in my kitchen for roasting in the oven.

Accuracy is poor, particularly as it gets older
I've had mine several years. It's the 4 probe version but otherwise the same. Yesterday it went into the trash. There had been some suspicious readings. A calibration check using ice water and boiling water showed that two of the four probes differed by 30 degrees with neither being right. The remaining probes were close but still a few degrees off.

Wish we had it sooner!
I got the igrill3 for my dad and it is amazing. I wish I would have bought it for him sooner. He loves it and it has improved his grilling skills!

Accurate & easy-to-use grilling thermometer
The iGrill app was easy to download & it paired quickly with the iGrill thermometer. I ran one probe to a tri-tip & the other to a filet mignon. Monitoring the temps from either the iGrill thermometer and/or my cell phone was easy and produced two perfectly grilled pieces if meat.

The Good, The Bad, The Burndt!
A great partner in grill cooking. Live the different temp settings for meats and connection to my phone. Connectivity can be an issue at times and I recently inadvertently burned up one of the probes protective shield making it worthless

Died
I bought this a while back and just tried to used it this Thanksgiving 2020. Took it out of the box and inserted the batteries and nothing worked. There was just an alarm coming from the unit. Tried to reset the unit but nothing worked.

Received as a gift.
Received as a gift. I have been using it multiple hours per week for 2 years. Never had the app crash. I’ve only replaced the batteries on the probe hub once. The probes are always within a degree or two of the various other temp measuring devices I have. I have submerged the probes in hot liquid for extended periods (beer making) without issue. I don’t actually know what the usable temp range is, but I’ve had the probes and wires over direct charcoal inferno and under the broiler without issue.
Range: There is no wifi connectivity (Bluetooth only) so the app will disconnect from the probes and hub if you’re greater than 30ft away AND indoors. I kept the app open and phone strapped to my leg while cutting grass. It never disconnected (while I was outdoors) on 2.5 acres. The range can be extended with a smart watch if you leave your phone somewhere in between, but I can’t check the app on my watch. I only get doneness alerts.
Downsides: I wish there was a way to see all 4 probe temps on the hub at once. The probe hub display is a little primitive compared to what could be done. The display coating is shiny and can be difficult to read on sunny days. Once it got too hot and the display didn’t work at all until it cooled down, but that’s easily fixable with some shade or a bowl. The doneness alerts are set to 10 degrees below target temp as a default. The ability to change the alert temp would be nice as 10 degrees can be several hours if you’re smoking. Honestly though, if all the items I considered downsides were implemented this product could be 2-3x the price.
All that said, I will most likely be purchasing this as a gift this year for a fellow fire/meat/smoke enthusiast. Recommended.

Faster grilling
With this bluetooth meat thermometer, I don't have to repeatedly lift the lid to check the temperature from a traditional thermometer. Since I don't lift the lid and let the heat out, my cook times are shorter, especially on colder days.

Liked enough that my son gets one for Christmas
Works really well. Glad I bought the iGrill 2 with the display on the unit instead of the iGrill 3. Blutooth range isn't that good. Loses connection if I walk in the house. Wish it was WIFI or at least had the option for WIFI. I like it so much that my kids are getting one for Christmas.

Best Grill Thermometer!
The absolute best grill thermometer I have every used. So many selections in terms of the food you want to monitor....love that Salmon is a choice. Now I am no longer tied to the grill. I can move about my family/guests and enjoy knowing the food will be cook to the correct temperature.

Inconsistent results with Igrill 2
Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. When it doesn’t work it gives inaccurate temperature reading.

Works great when it stays connected
I really love the features on this thermometer and the fact that I can set it up with different temperature ranges targets etc. but this thing disconnects all the time. I can be sitting on my couch 15 feet away from the grill and suddenly it disconnects and I haven’t touched the phone I haven’t touched the probes or the meter it really sucks. Then to get it to reconnect I have to go turn it off and on again. Bluetooth connection is bad!

Spot on accurate and good range
I double-checked the readings with another trusted thermometer and it matched up perfect. The app is pretty intuitive and I like the dial option that allows you to select the exact temperature that you are shooting for. Bluetooth range was fine for me, only lost the signal once, but it came back almost immediately. Solid product.

This is one durable little unit!!!!
this thermometer got left out in the rain for about two weeks. It was so waterlogged that I was shaking water out of it after pouring water out of it when it was brought inside. It initially Turned on but was reading 70 degrees in a glass of ice water so I figured it was beyond salvaging. After letting it dry out for a few weeks it is now reading 32-33 degrees in ice water. I am completely impressed in the quality of this little guy and absolutely recommend this unit!!!!

Average
I was very excited to smoke my first brisket with the Igrill but the range of this makes it unusable for me. Unless I stood next to the window or wheeled the cooker next to the door and filled my house with smoke the unit was out of range. Very disappointed.

Decent, but Bluetooth is holding it back.
As long as you don't go too far, works very well. However, the Bluetooth connection is this thing's Achilles heel. Walk too far away from grill or smoker and it drops off whenever not in line of sight. Needs to be upgraded to carry on a wifi signal for increased range and usefulness.

Works for Me
I purchased the IGrill 2 for my Weber Genesis ll last July. Current Bluetooth items are for the most part reliable, and the iGrill is no exception. It does have a range, and "line of sight" works best. This means if you are inside near a window that has a line of sight to your grill, you will get pretty good range. All I know is it gets me inside where the AC is out of the hot Texas sun!
It also keeps me from peeking under the lid every 10 minutes to see how things are going. For that reason I believe the ambient temperature probe is just as important as the meat probe, reason being is that if it suddenly zooms from 350 to 500 or so, you have a flare up! But instead of burning it to charcoal, you are now alerted and can get to it in a hurry.
And with the lid shut more, the temperature is more uniform and much easier to control.
Also having a ready reference for target temperatures of different types and cuts of meat is more valuable than I would have thought.
Obviously what I am describing above is slow cooking primarily over indirect and/or low heat. The iGrill's value for quick cooking over direct heat is way more limited in my opinion.
All in all, it is a winner. When and if mine goes kapoot, I will be buying another. I like it that much.

Cold one for me
I thought I was buying the thermometer that attached to the front of my grill, however, I found this to be a fine option and no installation needed. It was easy to synchronize with the app and I was underway. Now I could enjoy my beer and let the app tell me when it was time. With extra ports it makes it easy to do several items.
