Safe stabilizer
It was great to find a ladder stabilizer at my local True Value. It worked great on my older ladder! I'm a 71 year old woman and I felt safe climbing up about 10' to hang a blind.

Works well for me.
I needed something to prevent my extension ladder from crushing our aluminum rain gutters. This works well at our house, but one needs to be careful when positioning the "feet" on the roof so that nothing touches the gutter. The U-bolts weren't threaded as far as needed to be able to clamp the unit to the ladder tightly, but that was solved with $1.50 worth of metal washers. This was a really good, low-cost solution for a vexing problem.
