[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First Alert Onelink Battery Powered Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector has given me the biggest peace of mind. I absolutely LOVE that while I'm away from home I'll be notified if a fire breaks out. This was super easy to install. No handyman needed!! Connecting it to my phone was a breeze. Definitely read the user manual as it was very helpful. I REALLY like how you can test the alarms from your phone to ensure yourself that they are working properly. I highly recommend!! I'll definitely be getting a few more.

I do recommend making sure to read all instructions given, and that will make the set up process much easier. Everything you need to set it up in any room of the house comes in the box. It’s a very nice Safety net to have. It was very simple to install into the wall. I definitely recommend for anyone looking for a smoke detector. I’ve had it for a few weeks now and have had no problems.

I love the design and how you can connect it to your phone. I did find it slightly hard to connect to my phone I kept receiving an error message,after a few attempts I finally got it to connect. I love how I can just pull up the app and check on my home for any smoke or carbon monoxide while at work. The design of the detector is very modern with only a few buttons. The detector is a nice white color and would match just about any home decor.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Won’t stop chirping! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The setup process was pretty simple. You download the app, and it walks you through the process. If you have slow wi-if or live in a rural area as I do, this process may take longer. After installing the smoke and carbon monoxide detector successfully, the detector began to chirp. I checked the app and it had said there were no issues with the sensors or the batteries. Even after turning off the alarms, the detector continues to chirp. I eventually had to disconnect the batteries for it to finally stop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Smoke Detector [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are all about safety, and this smoke and carbon monoxide detector gives me a ton of piece of mind. I can get alerts on my phone even when I'm away from the house, which is wonderful. I also like that the two detectors are combined, so we don't have to have two. I haven't been able to fully test this, but they claim a 5 year battery life, which is wonderful. I feel like I'm always changing smoke detector batteries. You can also link the multiple units together so that they all alert when something is wrong, which is great for parent piece of mind!

I love it is a combo so it also acts as a carbon monoxide detector as well. It's very loud which is good. I also love that it speaks alone with the noise to tell me what it is and where it is located. I love that I can control the detector with my phone. Instal was quick and easy. Connecting it to the wifi was also easy too. This is perfect for anyone in the market for a smoke/carbon monoxide detector this worth the purchase.

I installed the app on my phone and my tablet to get notifications. I plan to add another unit in the basement. They can be easily interconnected. There are voice alerts that say the type and location of the danger. The battery has a probable life of five years. I added to my alexa which recognized it without a problem. Alexa will tell the unit status when asked. The interconnected home is certainly the way to go these days. Well worth the price for the piece of mind received.

So when I saw First Alert Onelink Battery Powered Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detector with Mobile and Voice Alerts I was over the moon with excitement. Also, the fact that it is battery powered and doesn't have to be hardwired was definitely a plus and made my choice that much easier. It is also visually pleasing to the eye. Oh, let me not forget you get notifications on your mobile phone and can control it to, it can also be interconnected to other Onelink devices. It works with Amazon Alexa so you can ask Alexa to give you the status of your alarm; it's also compatible with Apple Homekit. Love it!!
