Perfect set of 2!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These babies came just in perfect timing! We bought a very old house and converted 2 extra rooms. We needed these! Installing these was easy and the directions was very clear. It is not bulky looking and blends very well with the wall. It does not make any noise. Removing it to replace batteries is also very easy - not that I need to do it right away, but bc I am a woman, I need to learn this at the beginning so I know when the time comes. I need to be independent in case my husband cannot do it. Great products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Knowing the First Alert brand, I was excited to get the Ionization Smoke Alarms for our newly remodeled house. I want it protected with the best and I feel like it is with these alarms. My husband said they were super easy to install. And we chose the battery operated ones so we change the batteries as the time changes. So just twice a year to be sure we are fully protected! I fully recommend First Alert. I have never been disappointed yet with the quality and durability of any of their products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both fire alarms work well. I replaced one in my kitchen and placed one in my hallway. I did a small smoke test just to see if they worked and they definitely did. Worked with minimal smoke and was very loud. There's no way you wouldn't be able to hear them if you were in a bedroom with the door closed. Was easy to install on the wall, took only a minute for each one. Good quality smoke alarms. May purchase more to place at the end of the hallway and restroom. Don't necessarily need that many but as a precaution.

Works great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a month ago and it works great. I’m a bad cook and it goes off almost every time I cook. I recommend putting these all over your home. It may save your life some day. I have one in my kitchen, laundry room, over every bedroom door and in hallways. They are very loud so to get your attention just in case you are sleeping. I know that the fire department would appreciate if you have one and it might not only save your home but also your life. They are small and not very noticeable. I recommend that you change the batteries every time the time changes.

These are extremely easy to use and very easy to install. They have always had trustworthy and dependable products. I always recommend anything by First Alert. Can sleep easier knowing we are protected!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed an ionization smoke detector in an area of the house that doesn't have electricity. We had been worried about a fire starting in that area. These are smoke alarms are easy to install and give us peace of mind knowing that should anything happen in this part of the house, we will be alerted right away. The battery operated piece of the puzzle makes installation a snap and is also great as we tend to lose power in our neighborhood during bad weather. We will probably get a few more for the garage and the basement.

easy to install
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a few weeks ago and decided to put one of these Ionization smoke alarms in my garage. Our house already has hard wired smoke alarms, but the garage did not have any alarms. We decided that for the price these ionization smoke alarms would be sufficient. The alarm has not gone off naturally, but the test button worked like a charm. Installing the battery was easy with the slide out battery door. It is also nice to have a back up alarm on hand. First alert smoke alarms are a simple alarms to install and priced accordingly.
