It DOES clean out sticky, gummed-up valve bodies and solenoids! Yes it DOES!
We purchased a 2013 Nissan Versa with CVT. It had 175000 miles and for the most part, ran fine. Traditionally, Nissans have a great reputation. Within a couple of months, I noticed the CVT shifting strangely- when you take off from a light, the RPM would hit close to 3000 and the car barely accelerated. I ended up having to light-foot it until about 20 mph to get any sort of acceleration from it . I then changed old fluid and BOTH filters- better, but still wonky. Forums said look for clogged valve body and solenoids. Tried Trans Tune (make sure to drain a pint out before putting Trans Tune in.)
BRAVO, SEAFOAM FOLKS! It shifts amazing and better than ever! Now, it doesn't spin wildly on take-off and the car now moves forward when I hit the gas! I am resetting the Check Engine Light (Faulty Torque Converter LockUp Code) and will report back in 100 miles. If things stay the same, I am a Happy Guy.
No- I don't Hot Rod the poor thing- who "races" a Versa!?!?!

Clean As A Whistle
My very high-mileage Volvo has so-called "lifetime" transmission fluid. It holds a little more than 7 liters. I drained and refilled the system three times (usually a little more than 3 liters replaced each time.) First time it came out nearly black, after that lighter and lighter carmel color (the new fluid is red.) One last time with one difference, I added a bottle of TransTune and drove the car for about a week. The same carmel color fluid drained out. After putting in the new red fluid, I removed the small drain screw to adjust the fluid level--(Volvo doesn't make it easy. You are supposed to let the fluid stream out until it begins to come out in individual drops, then you put the screw back in and the level is set.) Amazing that the fluid was bright red like I poured it straight from the transmission fluid bottle. Without changing the transmission filter, the TransTune cleaned out the last of the old transmission fluid in a car with very high mileage. Shifting is back to being smooth too! I recommend this product to anyone with a higher mileage car for the transmission and to everyone for maintaining their power steering fluid pump.

Amazing
I used it the trans tune in a 2014 Ford Escape that had transmission issues. the dealer said the transmission is and we needed a another one...obviously at a ridicules cost. I put a bottle of this in and within a day of driving the vehicle the transmission was running fantastic. no more hard shifting and no more overdrive transmission shaking. Very happy with this product.

Worked for my issue saved me money and time
2004 Dodge Dakota, not shifting past 2nd code shows solenoid problem had changed, still same issue, only has 47k not used much as it is at my house in PR was looking to drop pana and change valve body but decided to give this a try, after adding drove for while now codes gone and back to shifting normal actually feels better
