Rated 2 out of 5 by brat from Not impressed. We can send men to the moon but.... This is my 3rd wand. The igniters wear-out too soon. This 3rd one just won't stay lit. I waste 1/2 a bottle of gas just lighting the darn thing. It's going in the recycle bin. It is also hard for me to light anyway: I'm short so I have to lift my arm fully to get end in reach for sparker.....up, down, up, down, up, down....that's about how lng it stays lit. Sigh. I have no clue where the purchase reciept is, so Warranty isn't an option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Milo B from Excellent for landscape weeding It’s great for burning weeds. We bought it so we could save time & wear/tear on our knees while weeding our landscaping. It’s also a lot more fun than bending & picking. All hail the fire gods!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Gabby T from Faulty igniter The igniter doesn’t work, at all. No amount of clicking or manually lighting got it going. The propane canister are new and you can hear them making a whooshing sound, so it not the tanks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cisco. Woodsman and retired prof. from It's fantastic. Three major uses: 1) lighting fires and keeping them going in my woodstoves. The torch end is well away from me. It throws fire all around the base of kindling or logs and quickly and easily brings back moribund fires, I use it all winter long, 2) Getting and keeping outdoor burn piles going, of branches from pruning firewood cutting, etc. Makes these jobs much much easier. 3) For professional firefighters, excellent for starting backfires. I don't do this. When my daughter was a wildland firefighter she did. She gave it to me. The propane lasts a very long time. This is one of my most useful tools of any kind, I have a hard time understanding how anyone could give it less than five stars unless they don't know how to use it right.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Bob from Waste of money This thing works for about two minutes and then it will not stay lit. I'm not sure what the problem is but it sounds like it's a common issue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Burning, weeds 5 minutes a shot from Good, not great Much easier than pulling weeds by hand or using chemicals. The only shortcoming is it will only run about 5 minutes. Once it gets hot it doesn't want to stay lit. I'm not sure what physics happens but when it gets hot you need to turn it off, wait for it to cool before using again or it keeps going out as soon as you light it. I've tried adjusting the gas flow up and down once it's hot but no luck, it just lights, burns for a second, then goes out once it's hot.
