So many uses, so many ideas
I use these in different sizes for keys, dog tags and several other things around the house that I want to have accessable-like measuring spoons.

Good idea, bad design
I previously had an S-Biner without a lock on which I zip tied to lock the bottom gate after I had a key escape. It worked ok, but sometimes the zip tie would slip. I was excited to find this locking version, but it hasn't performed as well as I'd hoped. After about a year of normal use, I noticed the locks started slipping out of place just from daily activities. (I should have secured the gate myself right away, but didn't.) With this design, when the lock slips, it can get stuck at the end of gate, propping it open to catch a key ring in the latch, making it less secure than the unlocking version. After a few near misses, I finally lost an expensive car key that way and rage-duct-taped the gate closed. I would strongly recommend against this model for carrying keys and would consider the G-Series instead.

Strong in steel: fir clipping and hanging
Ideal for clipping at one end and hanging from the other. I have in mind making sure that my camping gear and tools are stored above ground, away from critters.

Locking s biner
Love this company and every product of theirs I own. I give these away because people need to know how awesome these are. I recommend the locking biners and the non-lockers can drop your keys - not a fault of the product just a busy lifestyle. It’s why they make the locking variety! Can’t say enough about em. I have all sizes for various purposes!

Love Nite Ize but don’t recommend this product
I have purchased Nite Ize products before and they are great. I recommend things I love to friends and family if they work out for me. After the first week, one of the plastic piece broke off and the other plastic piece won’t stay lock. I got this for my work keys because I absolutely can’t loose them. I was excited to find out Nite Ize has the Runoff waterproof bags but after this experience I don’t know if I can trust this company. Now I’m shopping for a new idea for my keys and a way to keep my electronics absolutely waterproof.
