Description
The Dial PEC-A-3500-1MC portable evaporative cooler with up to 3500 CFM airflow and 4-way louver control can cool an outdoor area up to 1000 sq.ft. It features Dial's classic, signature control panel with individual dial for 3-speed fan, pump and louver operation. 3-speed control. Made of polypropylene (PP), with UV protection, the unit is highly durable. Water for the 13.2 gallon reservoir is filled manually or via garden hose attachment with float valve auto shut-off when used outdoor. Ice packs are included for additional cooling effect and it comes with a cover for storage when not in used during the cooler months.

Very nice unit. Easy to use.
Just got it 07/2023. Unit has air filters which other brands don't have........nice. Using in AZ desert hot weather, so very much needed. Love it!
There is a need for step by step instructions & pictures for how to remove and replace the pads. It was not in the product manual how to get to the water pads.

Keeps us fresh
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok so when I have people over we like to hang out in the gazebo that I have in my backyard and always gets too hot. Well thanks to the Portable evaporative cooler we can now hang out in the freshness. Love that fact that this can be used indoor and as well as outdoor. This is the best thing ever!!! I’m glad I’m ready for the hot sunny days coming this summer!!!

Nice cooler

It is a little louder than expected, but it cools a good bit of the area on our back patio. I think that I will also buy the cover for it, as it will not be used all year long. This is definitely a great item to have living in Texas!

Great sue dry climate
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you live in a dry climate or have days of less than 50% humidity this should work well for you. It’s a great way to cool and area without having to cool an entire building or home. So it saved energy and resources. I am in a very humid area, southeast – did not read the description well, my bad- so this isn’t the best for high humidity climates. That said, it runs quietly, is easy to use and it maneuvers around easily. Very straight forward in operation. This is what people used to call a swamp cooler.

Cool Air In The Heat.

As the spring turns to summer and the cool air heats up and living in an old Mobile home that has minimal insulation the cooler does what it is supposed to do. I love it- and it's perfect for my small space.

Decent cooling, very large footprint
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These units are great if you have a very low humidity climate, so please check your local zip codes average annual humidity before purchasing. Anything higher than 50% and you will have little to no cooling gains. The water reservoir is quite large and will just a long while before refilling. Having a hose attachment helps us the unit is being used outside. If used inside, always have proper ventilation or cooling again is drastically reduced. Finally, the unit will provide huge energy savings compared to an ac unit, assuming you met the other limitations.

This thing works almost too well

Cool days
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an amazing invention!. Never thought we'd be able to do yard work and stay cool. You can attach to hose also add ice. It came with ice packets. But we used ice. It has 3 speeds. And swings. Works great. Like a swamp cooler. Or it is but can move around with you where you go.
