Scotts PatchMaster really works
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used PatchMaster on a couple spots that were bare in my yard. I have a good cover of tall fescue overall in yard. But i had a couple problem areas. I prepared spots to reseed by raking soil to loosen. I then applied the PatchMaster to areas. I watered as directed and kept it damp for several days. The seeds started to grow. I continued to water as directed. I now have no dead patches of lawn. I am a dedicated user of Scotts lawn products. I have been using their products for a few years now. I would
not switch. I have tried the cheaper brands. My yard is greener with no weeds.

NO GRASS!
I bought this product in early June 2020 and followed the directions to the letter. I still have bare spots. Very few sparse blades of grass popped up and that was it. I shook the bag thoroughly but I do not believe there is enough seed mixed in with the recycled mulch, which when watered all stuck together and and formed a barrier and I think prevented much of the grass from being able to grow. I am so disappointed. Years ago there was a blue material mixed with the seeds, but now this tan recycled mulch does not work well.

Great product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This really filled in bare spots. Watering is a must. Not only to get the seed to germinate and get grass growing but also after initial signs of grass popping up. I used this when it was still hot and some of the new grass died out from the heat. I hope it comes back this spring.

Easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to use one product has all you need. The seed grows quickly and it really does a decent job of repairing bald spots just need to work the existing soil or better yet use a Scott’s soil underneath really helps the growth when you do that

It does quickly
It was beautiful for about a month. Instructions were followed. It died. It's a big brown spot. I'd love to leave a photo but your website says the file is too large. I'll put the photo on my Facebook account with my negative review.

Patch Master
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is superior to any patch bag I have ever used or tried. The tall Fescue was the perfect bled for my yard. I added a new mailbox a large style brick based one and I had ruined some grass in the surrounding area. I applied this as the directions said, kept it watered and in no time at all it blended it like the entire lawn was done at the same time.

worked well in the shade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After I killed all the clovers under my Maple Tree I patched this whole bag in, Not because I had any problems with the clover killer but because now with all the clovers gone it was a little thin. THEN I applied this bag of patch master carefully following the directions. Its a little messy I'm not going to lie, stinks kinda too but hey its most likely all the good nutrients and fertilizer. Anyways in about 2 weeks I had 2-2.5 inch high grass blades and it all rooted in well !! !

Didnt hold up to the rain
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can give this product a fair review. After 2 days of putting it down we had record amounts of rain ans wind and most of the product washed away. I dont feel that this was a result of the product being faulty just happened to be mother nature being way over board.
