Works well. Don’t expect miracles!
We bought two of these last year. One wouldn’t hold a charge, but was quickly replaced by Thermacell under warranty. Our place is deep in Minnesota’s north woods, and mosquitoes and black flies can be a nightmare. Using these, the number of biting insects are noticeably fewer. Are there zero bugs? Get real. No. But the situation is much better. And this is the only repeller that works on black flies. We put one next to our door to reduce the bugs that might follow us indoors. When camping, we move one to near the tent door a little while before entering for the night for the same reason.
Thermacells work. Will some bugs get past it? Yes. Will they make things a lot more tolerable? Yes again.

Whoa - this really works (and it's easy).
I was skeptical, but my backyard swarms with Mosquitos and this keeps them away and not a single bite. As soon as we turned it off, they were back and we were fighting them off by hand. I'm a believer and don't sit outside without it. Thermacell gave us our deck and yard back.

Only got one use out of it
Purchased this as a way to rid our deck of the Mosquitoes that show up during the Summer. When I received it, I allowed it to fully charge and it did work for one Battery cycle. When I tried recharging it, it never completed a charge. There is a red light that stays lit when trying to use it until it eventually just turns off after about 2 minutes warming up.

Not as good as the portables
I was expecting a better product that covered 20ft radius. NOT at all. It has NOT been a good product experience. I recieved mine with empty fuel cartridge that leaked out in the box. The heated fumes are very very low and does NOT provide any mosquito shielding. I had to reach for my portable thermacell with the cardboard repellents and that works better.
I dont see anyone recommending or purchasing anymore of this product. A fail.

So Far, so Good!
Bought the E Series about 6 weeks ago. I was skeptical at first. First, we do not have an oppressive mosquito problem, more of a mild to moderate issue. We have used the repeller 3 evenings & it worked! Our family, that are regulars, noticed & confirmed the absence of mosquitoes as well.

Thoroughly dissatisfied
It simply doesn’t work. Just watched a mosquito land on it. They are still attacking my legs with the unit between my feet. I have used the butane versions with great success but this thing is crap

Buying a second one!
Walking into our campsite, my husband and I were instantly infested with mosquitoes. We Grabbed out our new thermacell mosquito repeller and we were mosquito free in minutes. We are ordering a 2nd one for our backyard at home. Amazing product! Highly recommend.
