Button Needs A Cover
Thou I'm happy with having the opener on my keyring, the button is too easily activated! Once my garage door was open all night and another time the door opened with my hatch door of my SUV lifted up which the garage door caught!!! This is from carrying items in and simply putting the keyring down or having the keys in your pocket.

Works well enough - *IF* you get past installation
Bought 2 of these to replace openers sitting in cars, plus an outside wallmount Chamberlain remote. And couldn't get any to pair with my Craftsman. After reading of others with the same issue, I figured it out. The instructions fail to mention something VERY important about Step 2.
That's where you click the button you're going to use 1-4 times, depending on the color of your learning button. The error is you have to wait for the LED on the remote to stop flashing before pushing again, so if you have a red learning button like mine you push-wait-push-wait-push. Follow the rest of the steps and it should pair up.

Worst opener Ive had in 25 years
I bought two of these, one for my wife and another for myself and they are a nightmare. For the most part as far as range goes, I have to side with the a couple other obviously honest one and two star reviews in that the range is horrible, even after trying several different new batteries. You have to hammer the crap out of the button holding your tongue to the left to get the door to open or close. Oddly enough it seems that opening the door is far more successful than closing the door which is seriously frustrating as we generally have less time to sit there and try to get the door closed than getting it open when coming home. Its even gotten as far as each of us having to manually go in to the garage through the side door to hit the hardwired switch to open/close the door. If I could return them I would as it is a huge waste of $120.
Lastly, YES I have tried a conventional larger opener and it works 99% of the time, instead of 99% of the time the other small one in question doesn't work.

Exactly What I Was Looking For
I rent an apartment and my garage does not have a door to walk in and out of so I always need my opener on me. I bought this at Home Depot and had it all set up less than 30 minutes later. Very easy install, and now I don't have to carry the visor clip every where with me.

Says it works from 1500 ft away but I have to sit inches from my garage door and press the button 20 times and sometimes it still doesn't work. Waste of money and will never buy anything with this brand again.

Excellent product
Bought one and have two more that came with switch and lamp modules. I'm pleasantly surprised with how far it works from the opener or the other modules. Buttons are recessed so that accidently pushing the button while in a pocket is difficult. Carry one when walking the dog and it beats using a visor version or the outside keypad.

Excellent and provides security for your garage
I bought this keychain remote as I've known of remotes being stolen from cars with the home address..... By having it on the keychain, it is with me always, and much easier than digging it out to use. Had mine for about 3 years now, works every time, and I've not had to change the battery yet. Definitely a great item!

Works well but.....
I've had similar remotes for a liftmaster opener. They work just fine . The area that needs improvement are the easily pressed buttons. My wife and I have on many occasions hit the button and opened the garage door accidentally. This is a safety and security issue. Maybe a small plastic flip top that covers only the buttons is the answer to keep buttons from inadvertently being pressed.

BEST PURCHASE EVER!
I've recently purchase this 956EV, and am very please with it. I have had NO issues whatsoever with it at alIl. Also I have programmed it to many different chamberlain/lift master/sears openers, and have been successful every single time. Great distance (mine works about 50 feet away). And even though there are only 3 buttons you can use this remote for however many openers you have, so long as they aren't right next to each other. I highly recommend the purchase of this item!

Total waste of money
Purchased this new. Would not open the door from outside the garage - only worked standing inside within 5 feet of the opener. Bought new battery and installed it - no change. So it will only open the garage door if you are already in the garage. Obviously useless.

Extremely pleased
I was pleasantly surprised at how quick and easy it was to set up. It took less than 3 minutes!!!!! Remote is the same size as the average key fob. I plan on purchasing more for my family, as I believe the ones that stay in the car are just easy home access for thieves.
