Rated 2 out of 5 by from Battery Issues The battery drains almost every time we use it. Confusing, and poorly designed! To shut it off, press and hold until the white light comes on then let go. But if you hold it just a second too long, it goes to blue tooth mode. So, unless whoever is using it is paying very close attention, you think it is off, but it actually went to bluetooth mode and will drain the battery. Changing the battery is a pain in the neck! Need a screw driver to get to it and then it's hard to dig it out, put a new battery in and then put the cover back...with a screw driver. Why not have auto shutoff after not in use for a period of time? The thermometer itself works well, but the design is poor. Buy another brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb results, every time Father's Day gift. Use it for grilling and all holiday roasts, where it really shines. The app allows you to estimate finish time. I use this for grilling, roasting and sous vida. However, the design has a problem and I must take the coin-sized battery out after every use or it goes dead. I keep the thermometer and a sheet of extra batteries in a quart Ziploc bag.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worked until it didnt First couple of times worked fine then just quit on me. Thought might be the battery Changed it several times and would start then die

Rated 4 out of 5 by from iGrill mini is a time and fuel saver The iGrill mini works fine up to 33 ft, which is the max range for any Bluetooth connected device. I just cooked a turkey roast and it made the job simple with no need to open the grill to check on my roast. Recommended, with the range caveat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Grill App The I Grill allows me to bbq with out any worries. It allows me to measure the internal temp of meat and the app tells me when it is done. It has been perfect every time. Recommend buying the multi thermometer version as you can cook multiple steaks to different levels of doneness

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Bluetooth connection -- and then it failed My mistake. I should have purchased a Wi-Fi capable thermometer instead of Bluetooth. The iGrill Mini had a range of not more than 15'-20' which made it practically useless. Then, after 2 months of use it stopped working entirely. The probe would register no higher than 157° while a digital instant-read thermometer recorded 200°. Lesson learned.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Works well when it works I bought it a couple of months ago and it worked flawlessly. I used it on steaks and grass fed burger and it worked very well. Perfect. Now it will not operate. I cannot get it to work at all. I tried new batteries, not working still. It works perfect but is NOT reliable for the long haul

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great idea, poor performance Always wanted one of these and found two that were deeply discounted so I bought them. I am very happy I didn't pay full price. I couldn't get the device to pair with my android and I tried several times. Finally tried my IPad and it paired. Tried cooking steaks to medium rare and ended up being medium well. Not real happy. Tried again this evening to cook pork chops but now the battery is dead. Moving to Thermoworks, reviews there are really good.
