Rated 3 out of 5 by from Power off and battery life It works great but it will drain a battery in no time. I've tried different things and have resorted to simply removing the battery after use

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Died after one year The blue tooth has never had a good signal and had to reconnect after I went into the house, a distance of only 20 feet. I have had this unit one year, and today is Easter. Smoking a prime rib roast for Easter dinner, only to find the unit has died. Replaced the 2032 battery with a new battery. Unable to turn on and discover with my phone. Removed and reloaded the app, still no good, needed to find a new replacement wireless thermometer, so a trip to find one on Easter. Weber makes great grills and smokers, but this unit is a failure.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken after 1 use I bought an iGrill Mini and used it 1 time, then put it back in the box until last week. I brought it out because I have visitors and we were going to BBQ a Beef Tenderloin but the device did not work. I order replacement coin batteries and still the device does not work.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fun while It worked I was given the igrill mini as a Christmas gift, very excited to use it. First steak it worked perfect on. Second steak I cooked with it had a small flare up and now the probe wont even register a temp. Bummer, back to staring at meat till it looks ready i guess.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This Sold me to get an upgrade Well been using this little guy for almost a year now and I think I am ready for an upgrade. Sometimes use for temperatures, stalls etc. and sometimes for ambient temperatures. Every once in a while will give me problems that takes just a quick reset of the Android phone or transmitter to get it working right. Got some overtime monies coming so getting an upgrade to an iGrill2 and adding an ambient probe. The picture is showing it stuck into a turkey while a different one was being use for the ambient temperature. What I needed was a reader to give me alarms for the ambient temperatures getting too low or high.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not smartphone comparable I purchased the iGrill mini, last night. With hopes of smoking ribs and not having to open the smoker, constantly, to get a temperature reading, is NOT compatible with Android. I went thru the trouble shooting steps, 3 times. I finally called Weber and was told that the new phone operating systems, was not comparable at this time, but they are working the issue. Why sell something, if there is a glitch in it?
