Horrible
Horrible. Super spotty application. Runs like a sprinter in the olympics, like water with some dye in it. For someone that uses a lot of spray paint for work, never again will Krylon be purchased.

Horrible paint!
Horrible paint! Runs, thin takes 4 coats to match lid color! My husband painted cars for years. He knows what he’s doing. After sanding and preparing the farm gate, he started to apply the paint. Terrible! TERRIBLE!!!

Perfect paint
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a few cans last week to paint my models for my train set worked great. The colors really bring out the features in the models.

Good product -dry times temp & humidity sensitive
Overall I’ve been satisfied with this paint. Have used to gloss black for refinishing frame and roof supports on my golf cart build. Also used the satin on plastic trim and bumpers.
Product is sensitive to humidity and Temperature. Expect long dry times in cold and damp ambient conditions. No too bad on hot dry days.
I tried putting a clear protective coat on some parts after and had the parts all craze up. Had to do a lot of sanding to get back to a point of refinishing again. Not sure if this was due to insufficient dry time or product incompatibility.
A year later and still satisfied.

Does not dry!
I purchased for a pinewood derby car my son and I were working on. We painted it in with 2 light coats to get a nice even coverage and 12 hours later the paint is still tacky. We waited another 12 hours and we still have handling marks in the finish. This paint is complete garbage.

Krylon Fusion spray paint
Bought a can and the nozzle was clogged and paint dripped out. Bought a second can and it took quite an effort to get it going then it came out full force. A third can was same - needed to reposition my thumb to force it out.

Disappointing - Last can I ever buy
I've worked with regular Krylon before with good results on metal and wood. This time, I needed to spray paint two small enclosures made from cut and bonded 1/4" acrylic sheet. I decided to buy the (black gloss) Fusion variant even though it's more expensive than the regular type because it's advertised as suitable for "difficult surfaces such as plastics".
Painting the first box went well although the paint went on thin and unevenly plus it runs very easily if you apply even just a little too much. The finish turned out borderline ok but not really up to my expectations with a product of this price. The finish is spotty, uneven and marred by speckles.
Painting the second box was a different story: a pure nightmare. Even though by then I had gotten the hang of working with this finicky paint, the second coat started to wrinkle badly as soon as I applied it and the finish was instantly ruined. I had no choice but to wait a day, scrape, sand and refinish it. Then I tried repainting it and it wrinkled again. So off I go to re-sand once more. Once that's done, I'm not even going to try to use what's left in the can because I don't trust it anymore. It's going straight to the recycling centre and I'm getting a fresh can of regular Krylon or Tremclad.

Not as good as the original Fusion paint
Used up my last can of the original formula Fusion paint (great stuff, should have purchased more while available). purchased this newer formula Fusion all in one, but nowhere near as good as original, slower drying and more runs.

Horrible Nozzle
This was not cheap spray paint. The nozzle does not work and keeps POPPING OFF??? I can’t even get the product out because they cut corners on the hardware. What a train wreck.

Extremely hot paint
Ive been painting for 30 years on and off. Bicycles, woodworking. Cars, appliances, furnace and models, you name it, Ive painted it. I had this small Abs plastic boat and I was familiar with the fusion for plastic. I don’t know if this is the same formula. I gave this boat hull a light scuff and sprayed 2 coats 15 minutes apart. This paint goes on extremely heavy and It is difficult to get a light coat. It also behaves like enamel which I do not like based on drying times. The solvent in this paint is very aggressive. As you can see, this paint does not lay down flat. You really have to paint your finish in and youll be left with a heavy orange peel finish. I decided to let sit overnight and 24 hours later. I re sanded some areas that fisheyed on me and the paint was still rolling up on my sandpaper. I ended up giving it another try and hopefully avoided any solvent checking. I got a shiny coat but oh so heavy on this little boat and even after lightly touching at 12 hours after final coat, i was still getting finger prints so the advertised quick dry/ handle in 1 hour is not guaranteed. The paint still feels sticky to the touch even after 24 hours. Im going to let this boat sit for a week and see if it will cure like enamel. I sure wish paint manufacturers would advertise the type of paint Im buying so we dont have to guess. Duplicolor puts the label “Laquer” right on the can so I know what to expect. If this oaint doesn’t fully harden, I just might strip this paint down and repaint in duplicolor laquer like I paint my model kits.

Worst Spray Paint Ever!
I am an experienced painter. This KrylonFusion All-in-One is absolutely the worst spray paint I have ever used. It bubbles, drips and does not adhere to the prepped and sanded surface. I am trying to refinish a childs kitchen for my granddaughter. I sprayed the first coat. waited over 48 hours even though the can states recoat before 6 hours or after 24 hours. The second coat ruined the finish. I had to sand and scrape the bubbled finish., wait another 48 hours and it does the same thing. Six cans purchased and not even close to a finished project.

Great paint - lousy cap and nozzle
I give the paint itself a 5-star rating for easy, great looking results. I give the cap & nozzle a 1-star. The cap was a bugger to get off which led quickly to the nozzle on both cans, breaking off at the stem where it enters the can.
Used a 'Hammered Black' and 'Hammered Gold on a metal electronics enclosure, for a vintage patina look. Applied well using steady, light repetitive building coats with 15 minutes between coats, until the proper texture was achieved (which was fairly thick). Cured in 48 hours with a little tightening (shrinkage) and no color change. I applied waterslide decals and sealed them in with a clear acrylic lacquer, which was compatible.
If Krylon can fix the cap & nozzle, it will be a 5-star product.

Worst spray paint I've ever used
Like the title says, this is the worst spray paint I've ever used. I only bought it because the store was out of the stuff I normally buy, and I'll never buy it again.
It doesn't stick to what you're trying to spray. I'm an experienced woodworker, and after priming and sanding thoroughly, the paint wouldn't stick. I let it dry for over s week, sanded again, and sprayed again but the paint still isn't sticking properly.
Absolutely garbage, completely ruined my project. Never again.

Not what I expected
1st can stopped spaying just as I started project. Could not get paint to stick to the plastic trim around my boats glove box plastic was thoroughly cleaned.
I understand polyurethane is a hard surface to paint so, I gave it another try on an aluminum hatch trim. It spattered on the first attempt. On second attempt I got a reasonably clean spray. I’m letting it set for a couple of days before giving it the scratch test. Wish me luck

Total failure of a product.
1st issue was when shaking can, paint droplets started flying all over. It was leaking between the spray nozzle and the part that it attaches to. Wipe off paint can and started spraying and started dripping big drops on work piece. Couldn't push nozzle down any further.
2nd it says it dries quick to the touch. But after 24 hours could scratch the paint with my finger. Not finger nail, my finger. Bought another can thinking I could have got a defective can. Nope, did the exact same as the 1st can. Paint everywhere, leaking, and scratches just looking at it.

Not good for all Ready to Assemble furniture
Taking the lazy and less costly route, I bought the Krylon Fusion to paint a laminate ready to assemble book case. The first coat bubbled and pulled away leaving large areas of the laminate color showing through. I have spray painted many projects so i know I applied the paint correctly. I waited an hour and tried a second coat, the finish is still very uneven with the original color still showing through in patches. Very disappointing.

Unsatisfied
Very disappointed in this product. Purchased 4 cans. Cap is not easy to get off. Actually broke the sprayer button underneath off, when trying to remove cap. This can was now not useable. You claim, “no runs, drips or errors. I experienced both runs and drips. I will say, it does dry quick. See photos.

Great Coverage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Krylon Fusion All-In-One provided one coat coverage with both primer and paint for an easy paint job painting a couple of outside chairs that needed to be brought to life. They were just prepped by wiping down and then drying them. The paint was not sticky feeling like some paints tend to be. Big spray nozzle provided easy coverage and no drips by spraying at recommended distance on can.

Covers nothing - and drips
I used to this to paint a small filing cabinet. I sanded it, cleaned it, and started painting. It barely covered anything. And it didn't even come out of the bottle consistently. Sometimes it was just air. I shook it VERY well, and shook it in between painting. I used the whole can and it didn't even make it to two coats. I can still see underneath the paint.
The Clamshell Matte color is more like an uneven warm grey. I would NEVER buy this again. I read similar reviews only after I'd already purchased it. So disappointed. Guess I have to go buy a bottle of Rustoleum now...

Inconsistent Results
I’ve used this product previously with good results on exterior vinyl and aluminum surfaces, but I’ve gone through three cans of “Antique Grey” gloss and it refuses to provide an even finish, about 75% smooth gloss and 25% matte. Attempted to reapply after 24hrs and they aren’t kidding when they say wait 48hrs to apply additional coats (see photo). It cracked several spots on the prior coat. Stripped the whole piece and started with new cans from a different store and got the exact same result. Some gloss and some matte, on a completely uniform surface. Maybe this batch has a manufacturing issue.

good for every job!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Fushion All-In-One by Krylon is my new go-to! We have used it on just about everything! Outdoor chairs, pieces of wood furniture, Holiday projects, lamps and so much more! The can is easy to spray, no drips or mess. I didn't need a ton of coats with the primer already built in. Goes on even and dries fast! Highly recommend for your next project!

Awful
Color didn’t even come close to cap color. Matte clamshell looks like primer gray. Now my furniture in the back yard looks like a primered car. Going to try to go back over it in a few days with a darker color to see if it fixes it, otherwise I’ll use brownell’s paint for my rifles and have FDE furniture. Photo was taken after 4 coats on pine. Ended up the same color on the plastic and metal of chairs as well so it’s not the material type.

Fast drying Matte Paint is great but it’s differen
Been a Krylon devoted since design school and working over 40 years. I had a cloth at requested matte paint. Just takes some getting used to. I tend to be a close to the piece fast painter but the matte takes following the recommendation of 8”-10” away. On wood (poplar) I typically need to sand the first coat but end product is good. Also just because it feels dry but I wait to assemble for at least a day or two.
