Banish Freezer Burn
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are very few items where I'm brand loyal but this is one of them. The generic sandwich bags and freezer bags just don't do a good job. When it comes to my food storage I don't mess around and Ziplock is the industry leader especially when it comes to quality. They're so far above everyone that their brand name is synonymous with the product like Kleenex or Xerox in their fields. The stay open design made it easy for me to remove or insert the food I wanted to freeze.

Good quality but not much better than regular ziploc bags
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of this product in exchange for my honest review. I was excited to try these bags because pouring things into ziploc bags has long been an issue, and the prospect of "stay open" bags sounded promising. Unfortunately, the bags have not lived up to the hype. Don't get me wrong, they're still great for storing food, etc., do not leak liquids, and are altogether a good product, but they don't perform their advertised "stay open" function very well. More specifically, the bags have printed instructions for using the stay open function, but they are not very clear and do not seem to work well in any event. Additionally, the few times I was able to do so, the open the bag stayed open was only slightly better than regular ziploc, and certainly not as good as having someone hold it open (which would be ideal). As a result, while these are certainly good storage bags, I don't imagine that any extra cost associated for the stay open function would really be worth it.

Awesome for freezing soups and meat!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We always buy meat in bulk, and being able ot open these are perfect for keeping the raw juice off of the outside. The other big use we've found for this is freezing leftover soups or soup base mixtures for future use. The fact you can keep it open without holding it means 1 person can do it and I don't need to hold the bag for my wife! We love these bags! These are going to be our new go to instead of the standard quart bags.

Great for fruits, vegetables, and meat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked great for freezing grapes, strawberries, and portion-size chicken. It took me a minute to figure out how the bags work, but once I figured it out, it was super easy to replicate. The bags stood up without falling over while filling them. Fantastic product for freezing meal size portions or freezing bulk foods. I will be buying more in the future!

Good idea but not quite there
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try out this bad because I've been saying for years that we need ones with flat bottom. The bottom wasn't as functional as I would like it to be as it is still grounded until you put some thing in it and push it down flat. The Ziploc part of it the top, as well as the quality of the bag is wonderful and definitely will hold up in the freezer. I just wish the bottom was a little bit more easy to use.

Stays open and easy to fill
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Do you ever feel like you don't have enough hands when trying to fill a Ziploc bag? This has been a feeling of mine especially when trying to pour left over spaghetti sauce out of a pan and into a baggy. This product makes this chore a breeze. I LOVE THIS ZIPLOC!!! It took me a second to figure out how to fold the bag to stay open. The process is very easy and straightforward. The design works and the bag will stay open with nothing inside of it, as well as once it is filled. If you are like me chances are you will not go back to traditional ZipLoc Bags.

Simply fold over the top 2 inches of the ziplock bag so the bag is standing upright, and begin pouring. That's it! I'm definitely buying this in a larger size!

Fall-off in quality makes these unusable
These have been my favorite bags for decades but the latest boxes purchased all have the same issue. The zipper rips out when you initially open them making the bag worthless.

Not as good as I had hoped
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was using the new feature of the Ziploc Freezer Bags with the new stay open design and the bag ripped right down the side. I was trying to freeze leftovers smoothies form breakfast and followed the directions as stated and it ripped right down the right wide of the bag below the seal. I tried it again and the same thing occurred.

Great for kid snacks!

But I found myself grabbing them for produce (grapes) that my kiddos snack on often. I loved the stay open feature, and so did my toddlers! 10/10 would buy again for freezing and snacking needs!

Vacation packing saver
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although this product is great for your regular food storage in the freezer, I also used it for my vacation packing. Traveling with liquids, always puts my baggies to the test. This ziploc product kept my liquids contained and did not spill into the other items I packed. Shampoos- body sprays and other personal items stayed safe in these ziploc brand baggies. Will definitely use again!!

Great for liquids or soup

A quality product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using these to store leftovers in the freezer. As usual with Ziploc products the production quality is high. The tops seal well and the material strong. The stay open design is a little bit of a gimmick but does seem to work. It's not perfect and the directions on how to get it to stand are not clear but the bags stay upright most of the time. The bag being lighter than an actual container it is possible to knock it over but it stays upright if you are careful. Depending on pricing vs their regular bags I would buy again.

Great design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the stay open Ziploc bags and they are great. I tried the design by pouring my leftover rice into it for storage. I turned over the top as directed and set it on the countertop. I poured the rice and it stayed upright easily. These are also for freezer storage as well. The top snaps and turns purple to show its closed. These can also be reused and also to microwave, warm up the food item. These are definitely great, so may great features!

Stay Open Design is So Helpful!

Run! Don't walk! But these bags!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are amazing! Picture it... you're trying to scrap the leftovers out of the pan into your ziplock and you only have two hands! These bags actually live up to their name and stay open! All you have to do is unfold the bottom and fold over the opening as instructed! I was able to scrap in my leftover pasta dish without making a mess! My husband used them to separate raw meat and said they were amazing and there was no mess on the outside of the bag!

Must Have These Bags
