All the parts needed in kit form.
Great kit with all the parts required to properly vent a bathroom ceiling fan. Installation occurred five months ago and the vent has functioned perfectly. No problems with the damper flapping in the breeze or any leakage or back-blow and we have had some strong storms lately. I plan to vent the second bathroom with the exact same kit next month. The only change I made was to swap out the supplied non-insulated flexible aluminum ducting with an insulated version given the location in an open attic.

For Master Bath
The Master Bath has a window but cannot use in the Winter. Installation was ok. The trips back and forth to the attic was a bother. Fan draws out the moisture. Purchased a higher priced product to get the lower sound decib as bathroom is very small. Works really well.

Conflicting information?
This kit comes with flex pipe. Q & A number 6 from Broan customer service on this website advises to use rigid ductowrk when connecting to exhaust fans. Considering that this product is advertised as an bath and ventilation fan, can you enumerate as to why you include flex pipe with the product?

Why don't you make a 6" collar for your 6" ducted fans?
For bathroom exhaust fan applications, studies have shown that a 6" duct has much less resistence than a 4" duct, thus maintaining the CFM output. In fact, your most efficient line of fans come with a 6" duct. Good weatherization practices require a secure attachment to a dedicated roof vent. Why not make a roof vent with a 6" collar. For that matter, why not also make a roof vent with 7" collar for your range hood fans?
