Rated 3 out of 5 by from Our tap water tastes better. We avoid using the fridge water. It tastes so weird, worse than the tap water for sure, it usually measures about a 39 on the TDS measurer from our zero water filter. Our tap water is around 51.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trickle of water before and after replacing filter I replaced my water filter after noticing I had a trickle of water out of my refrigerator water dispenser which the problem remained post filter replacement. I also noted that the ice was hollow. This is a direct indication of a lack of water from the filter and filter housing or water control valve. To troubleshoot and test, first cut off your water supply and disconnect the water line from your house (on refrigerator side only) and see if the house is the issue by temporarily turning on the water while holding the water line in a bucket. If not, meaning you have plenty of water pressure from your house/wall side, turn off your house wall water supply valve. Reconnect refrigerator water supply line. Locate and disconnect the water filter line to your water control valve assembly inlet side from the filter housing. Temporarily again turn on the water supply. If there is no water replace your refrigerator water filter housing assembly. This was my issue and it fixed my water supply. If there is water, replace your water control valve assembly. The solenoid on the valve is stuck closed, burned out, or the water control valve is clogged with calcium deposits. Before replacement make sure that you have voltage on the electrical plugs to the water control valve. This eliminates any electrical issues. Happy Days!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did you change your filter specs? We have been buying this filter for our Jenn air fridge and we never had any issues installing it. When we had to replace our filter and purchased a multipack so we had some in stock, we had issues installing. It appears to not be going in all the way as it isn’t popping the button out and cause of that it creates a water leak outside of our fridge. We put the old one on and have no issues. We have purchased 4 of these filters to date thinking it must be a defected filter and no luck. We have gone almost a year without filtered water cause we just don’t know what to do anymore.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn’t dispense water Doesn’t dispense water after two filters. Works in bypass mode. I pushed and held in filter, the system works. The dimensions on the filter are off, so that’s why it’s not fully engaging to pressurize and dispense water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Water pressure problems - possible reason Hello, I've read the flow problems mentioned in the comments below, and last year I too had this exact issue, and I wanted to share my experience in hopes it may help. Because we discovered the problem did NOT stem from the filters themselves. For us, exact same scenario mentioned by other customers - Water comes out as a trickle, removed filter and it works, installed new filters and regressed back to trickling, etc. We then felt it might not have to do with the filter, so we reported this to our home warranty company. The technician came to our home and inspected - he discovered we had a cracked filter housing. He ordered a new housing and installed, and everything worked fine. Even the old filter. We paid only our service fee, so I can't really advise on how much it would cost without a home warranty. Nevertheless, this might be something many of you will want to consider. We've had zero problems with the filters so far, so I'm giving the filters 5-stars. My only wish, outside of lower costs obviously, is that they lasted longer than 6 months. But as far as outright malfunctioning problems with the filters themselves, we've had none.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Same issue as everyone else with recent reviews Copy and pasted directly from “Defective Filters” below, because same exact situation. This is our second one not working. My recent purchase of two of these filters has resulted in just a trickle of water making it to the dispenser and ice maker. With no filter, my flow rate is find. It easily takes me a minute per ounce of water. Something is quite wrong with the recent production of filters given the reviews.
