Love the ingredients
When my Labrador Retriever started loosing his "school boy figure",I started looking for a food that would not only be lower in fat,but one that would still give him the nutrition he needs. He's been on the healthy weight dry mixed with the canned for about a week now. Its early yet,but he does love the food.

MY DOGS WON’T EAT IT!!!
We switched to this Healthy Weight Life Protection Formula because the store where we purchase our regular dry dog food was out of their particular brand. Day 1, we tried to feed it to our two year old furboys. They each ate one piece and walked away. No amount of coaxing could make them eat another piece. Day 2, I mixed it with the homemade dog food that I make them, they wouldn’t touch it. Day 3, did the same thing, but this time they ate the homemade dog food and left all of the Blue Buffalo dog food in their bowls or spit them out on the floor. I knew they were very hungry at this point so on day four, I went to the store and bought them their regular dog food, which thankfully was now in stock. Went home and fed them their regular dog food with my homemade dog food and they ate every bit of it and were begging for more. My furboys are not picky eaters by any means. But we do try to buy them good quality, dry, dog food. So when my furboys don’t want to even touch it and would rather starve then eat..then I think there has to be something wrong with it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BLUE BUFFALO HEALTHY WEIGHT!

Great benefits and ingredients

Bought this for my large shepard, he picks out the blue Buffalo and won't eat it ...trying to mix it with his regular diet...not working...he doesn't like it

dog needed to be on a diet
my dog was getting a lil chunky so I started getting this food for her. She absolutely loves this and always chows down. She now has normal and healthy stools 2x a day.

I have two dachshund mixes; the puppy has 3 legs. So I knew that healthy weight max to be a priority. And then my older dog got a disc problem in his back. We ended up with a new bag of food from my brother who got two of these blue bags from his neighbor who’s dog can’t eat dry food. So far it’s been great. I’ve tried switch food in the past; it resulted in a hunger strike my my older dog (he’s been on blue for his entire 11 years) But so far he is loving this food. He knows the iconic Blue packaging! He doesn’t even bother any other food at the pet stores, he only finds the blue!
