Love this set!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this knife set a month ago, and I’m absolutely in love. There are several different options- from pairing to chefs knife. Really the best knife block on the market. It also has a low profile, so I don’t feel like it looks odd staying out on our counters. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Great "intro" knife set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very well-priced knife set that is appropriate for a first set of knives or someone on a tight budget. It has the "standard" set of knifes that are beautiful with the wooden handle and fit into a nice knife block. The set contains an 8-inch chef knife (my go to for most things), a bread knife (you don't realize you need one of these until you have one!), a utility knife (I use this for cutting fruit), a 3.5 inch parer (this can substitute as a peeler if you do not have one), 8 steak knives that are serrated, shears, and a sharpenning steel. The sharpening steel is a must, as it allows you to revive dull knives.
Having used these and higher end knives, I will say these work well. They get dull a little faster, but that is why you have the sharpenning steel. If you do not want to invest ~ 1k on knives because you do not know what you want, or you just do not cook that much, then this is the set for you. If you are comfortable using the sharpening steel, then the dulling is less of an issue.
In terms of balance, the blade on the 8-inch chef knife is a little heavy, which you may like. The balance point is not right where the blade meets the handle, but right at the beginning of the blade. In terms of weight, the wood handle creatles a relatively light knife.

Only Knife Set You Need
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this knife set several weeks ago and I'm so happy with it. The set comes complete with knives for all your cutting needs. I like that the blade sharpener comes with it and also has it's own spot in the wooden block. The wooden handles are made of walnut and are beautiful.

Great knife set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Chicago Cutlery Precision Cut 15PC Set has great knives. I have been using the set for nearly a month and have not dissatisfied with any of the knives. I did have a slight discoloration of the wooden handles the first time we washed them. We were able to able mink oil to them and bring the color back to them but we don’t submerge the handles in the dishwater any more.

Great knives
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These knives sets were not 4that heavy and it was easy to set up! I liked that they had a knife sharpener that comes with it. I just wish that they were a different color but other than that the knives cut easily on food.

Elegant yet simple

Usually I like to buy based on having multiple colors and not based on how the quality is. These knifes are super sharp! I've already cut myself a few times. Great set and Sharp
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] About a month ago, I bought the Chicago Cutlery Precision Cut 15PC Set. My poor knives have had it, and I'm glad I got this one now. WOW, are they sharp, and I love how they can be stacked within the walnut block—making them so easy to place right under my kitchen cabinet. The classic triple-rivet wood handles hold high-carbon stainless-steel blades, giving you sturdy knives that cut precisely and look great. The set has every knife I'll need, like shears, a bread knife, sharpening steel, and eight steak knives.
The set is of good quality and will get great use in our home. I like how they slide in and out without any problems. I can now have this set on hand when it comes to filleting my fish.
I also like how comfortable they feel within my hand; the design allows you to have a good grip when in use.
I would recommend this set to my friends and family.

Great features!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with my new Chicago Cutlery Precision Cut 15PC Set. The walnut color goes perfect with my kitchen. My favorite thing about this set is that, it comes with scissors, a sharpening tool, and the steak knives are so sharp. They cut perfectly everytime! Definitely do not put them in the dishwasher. It could ruin them. This is my new favorite steak knife brand. I would highly recommend!
