20v dewalt XR brushless sawzall
Thought thiswould be a nice cordless sawzall. But I was wrong.this thing just shuts off in middle of cuts. It's brand new. Only get a second of a cut with a fully charged battery.

This tool is great in due to the flex volt and its power to keep cutting. The blades can be positioned either up or down allowing for easy clearance when in tight corners. The trigger allows for a slow start speed when its needed, and goes faster the further its depressed. The motor is powerful and makes light work of most materials. Good solid body with great feeling rubber grips where needed. It is a little heavy, but it feels like it needs to be. I mostly use this for cutting out framing with nails, but have used it for steel I beams

This thing is a beast. It’s heavy, but that’s because it’s heavy duty. Get your guns out and let MR. DE-WALT take care of the rest. When I get done cutting through something I’m amped up as if i just bite right through it myself. I’m ready to go. You’ll hear me from the other room with a Rick Flair “Woooooooooo!” Or a Tim the Tool Man Taylor “uhhhhh uhhhh uhhhh.” I’m not sure if Tim would spell it that way or not, but I’m sure it’s close enough for you to understand the magnitude of this freakin’ saw. If I wanted to I could go cut my Dodge Ram right down the middle with this thing. Concrete lag bolts, no problem. Basketball goal, no problem, deckmate screw imbedded 2x4 and up, come here and take this blade! Once you pull that trigger you’re already ahead of half way done for the day. You better get you one and stop reading this review daggum it!

I bought this a little over a year ago along with multiple other dewalt battery operated tools. I have had issues with all of them. that would be 5 to date. I used to work construction and though I would be buying tools for life when I invested in dewalt tools. I was wrong. Sadly they are no longer the brand that I used to know. I will be switching brands after 30 years of experience. So sad to see what this company has become.

Very powerful lacks alot of features
Great saw. Well balanced. Very powerful. I’m a huge DeWalt fan but they are seriously behind with their reciprocating saws. I have yet to see a single one come with a rafter hook. There’s not even any options to mount one yourself. Rafter hooks are one of the most important features for me on almost any tool and especially a reciprocating saw. It’s massive factor for convenience, productivity and not to mention safety. I’m up in the trusses or working on ladders all the time and it drives me insane when I have to climb down and set my tool on the floor, or risk dropping it. There were so many missed opportunities to make this saw the best on the market. No orbital action, rafter hook, adjustable shoe, dual finger trigger, quick lock blade change, or a belt hook. If they can release a saw with all these features put together they would be blow past the competition. I hope DeWalt engineers are listening. For now I cannot recommend any reciprocating saw from Black and Yellow until they can start including rafter hooks.

The best reciprocating saw on the market
If I could give this six stars I would. Absolutely positively the very best reciprocating saw on the market.
This specific model is perfect. It's a 20v tool and will increase output with a 60v.
(60v works in all the tools but on some only offers longer run time)
This model increses power with the 60v and run time.
Let's talk just the 20v battery.
It's the most powerful saw in it's class. No opinion. No assumption. Don't believe me watch for yourself on project farm. DeWalt was far and away #1 saw in his testing and that was with a 20v battery.
If you need a reciprocating/sawzall this is the very best you can get.
