Great tool and set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pressure washer is definitely user friendly with little to no experience pressure washing. The compaction of the tools inside the pressure washer I.e (handles, nozzle and barrel assembly) is definitely a great feature for storage. The pressure washer works fine whenever I pressure washed my brick house and I really have no complaints about it. It took away the mold and dirt from the brick no problem as long as you were in a reasonable distance away. I did manage to get my hose to burst and knew the kink was getting worse and worse as time went by but other then that everything works just fine

Starting smoking after a year - not durable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit died just shy of a year and I cannot get Dewalt to replace it for me. I am in the Bahamas so shipping it to Florida for repairs will cost more than the unit. All my tools are Dewalt so this is very disappointing. While washing my car, I smelled something burning and saw smoke coming out of the unit. Dewalt, please do the right thing and replace or refund a unit that was still under warranty when it failed.

Slick looking garbage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Welp, just like all the other reviews on here I live the form factor and tool storage but after I ran it continuously for 4 minutes the motor overheated and caught fire. Avoid at all costs.

Follow-up to my prior review on broken unit
Following up here on a review I wrote before (reference ticket 7524226). Hey DeWalt, you should really read the reviews for this product and pass the feedback along to DeWalt management. They are among the worst I've seen for a product, and it's causing damage to the DeWalt reputation which is otherwise good. For my unit that broke after 4 uses, you sent link to service centers that are (a) 30miles away, (b) that all seem to get about 2.5/5 stars. I'm not sure which is worse, going through a tortuous process with one of those bad service centers, or just throwing the unit away and going with a different manufacturer. This product is seemingly so defective, it should either be recalled, or you should have a mail-in program where you get the broken unit and you either issue a refund or a new unit. How should we resolve this matter? I look forward to your response.

Smoking after 4 uses
My whole platform is Dewalt and I have many thousands of dollars in tools. This is by far the worst of my tools. After 4 uses, it started smoking and smelling very burnt, even outside on a windy day. The other uses were for my car and I didn't have to run it very long. As soon as I ran it for a bit longer, it started smoking.
As much as I would like to recommend Dewalt, save the money and buy something else. This only seems to have the appearance of quality without the quality with the parts inside.

Thought it was great....until it just stopped
I like the design, and when it worked, I was happy enough. BUT, I took it out of storage and it powered up momentarily, then turned off, and haven't been able to get it to turn on again. I see that others have had the same issue - almost like a circuit got tripped. I have used about 4 times - and have had this for about a year. Hoping DeWalt has the decency to replace.

Better than expected
Having a well with not a lot of pressure, i opted for this unit strictly because of its lower GPM and the compact storage options. I have larger power washers but they require tanks and pressure boosters. This little guy does a perfect job for around the house and garage. SO far it has not disappointed. WIth the nozzle selections its perfect for siding, windows, decks, patios, cars , tractors etc...... It may take a little longer than larger units, but is easy to use and packs away nicely without taking up a large footprint. DURABLE as well.

Disappointed, After 30 mins of use it failed.
Beware of this Pressure Washer. After 30 minutes of use the pressure washer failed. I thought It may have tripped a circuit, but after checking and plugging it into other outlets, it still would not turn on. There was no burnt smell or anything catastrophic, it just turned off. Is there a DIY Fix Dewalt?
While it was running it did a fairly good job at the task at hand. It looks and feels to be well built externally, it runs quieter than expected and the nozzle seemed to be of good quality. The hose is a fail, it constantly binds and pinches. When you try and stretch the hose out the entire pressure washer pulls without unraveling the hose. I did order an aftermarket hose and adapters but never got to use them.
I am a loyal DeWalt customer, I have purchased many of their power tools and they have been great besides the occasional DOA battery that would not charge.
If there is a fix let me know. Maybe mine had a faulty power cord, after researching this power issue seems others have had the exact same issue. Quality control issues???
