Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to use and works great. Easily makes spirals out of any veggies or semihard food. Very small and doesn’t take up much space in the cupboard. Bright green so it’s easy to find. Dishwasher safe.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doesn’t hold the vegetables well. I was able to make it work; however, I’m on the hunt to find one that has better teeth to grip the veggies to the hand protector. Don’t recommend.Oxo Hand Held Spiralizer

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fun addition to the kitchen [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My ten year old and I have had some fun adding this tool to our repertoire. We spiralized potatoes and zucchinni at a small cost compared to store bought zoodles. We found that our toddler enjoyed the size and it encouraged them to eat more veggies. This is a great tool for an inexpensive way to get in on this trend. If you are looking to do large amounts very frequently though, you might want something that is larger and a little easier and leaves less waste. This is compact and with a little elbow grease you can spiralize veggies and fruit. Something firm works best!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Handy for such as zucchini [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the spiralizer a couple months ago and have used it or tried to use it about six times since. It works great on softer vegetables such as zucchini or other peeled squash such as butternut or on larger potatos. I even seeded and peeled a cucumber for making garnishing spirals - fun! However, for small carrots, etc. - sturdier foods - not so great. Normal smaller carrots usually available at the grocer are too small and have to be cut to quite short lengths as to be not worth the effort.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Small form factor, but lots of waste [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the small size of this spiralizer and that it easily fits in a drawer (unlike the larger Oxo spiralizer that lives in a cabinet). It came nicely packaged with a bit of tape on the very sharp blade. It quickly made some very nice 'noodles' out of a yellow and green summer squash, but it isn't perfect. It was an arm workout to make zoodles out of two squash but not terrible. If I had more veggies, I would certainly use the hand crank spiralizer. I think this is common to all spiralizers, but I'm not a fan of all the waste- you lose a good chunk of the core, plus some from both ends. And crooked veggies (like the yellow squash in my photo) should be used for other dishes. My biggest gripe though is the cleaning. It took forever to get the tiny scraps of zucchini peel out of the triangle shaped tines. And I think my kitchen scrub brush lost some bristles in the process. All in all I'm not sure how often I'll reach for this spiralizer. I think I prefer the larger hand-crank model from Oxo, despite its larger storage needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small but mighty [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Oxo handheld spirilizer makes creating veggie noodles super easy! The sharp blade requires little effort to cut veggies. Its size is also nice because it doesn't take up very much drawer space. Don't judge it by its size, it does the work of the bigger spirilizers on the market.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Concept - Want to Love it [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been eyeing spiralizers for months before acquiring the Good Grips - Hand-Held Spiralizer. As a limited-storage kitchen dweller, I was attracted to the compact design. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the unpacking was. As an extra bonus I was delighted to see the 'dishwasher safe' notation. The design was as expected, compact and sleek. I found it easy to pop the top off. For my novice attempt I thought zucchini would be great, thinking the soft texture would be a great way to ease in. I was a little disappointed when the spiked edge refused to grip my zucchini, however I persisted without it. The first ringlets were AMAZING, but I found myself stuck getting little circles. The soft texture of the zucchini made it difficult to keep the pressure on the squash even, causing the lack of ringlets. Additionally, with the cap unable to grip the zucchini, I found myself not using the squash as much as I could. I was afraid of catching my fingers on the sharp surfaces. Overall I had a delicious dinner and will probably use the device again. However I am not sure if I would be 100% eager to recommend this to a friend for anything more than making quick garnish.
