Don't purchase
Did a 48 foot section of privacy fence with two batteries and it took charging batteries 4 times to complete job. These were new batteries as well so not like I was using old batteries either

Frustrating
I had this compressor for just over a year before it stopped working. I have used only to fill up low tires and it hasn’t ran for more than an hour or two. After going through the elaborate process of submitting a warranty and being assured it would be covered I received a call from the service center informing me it would be nearly the cost of a new unit for repairs. The tech had not diagnosed the compressor and told me regardless of the issue it would not be covered under the three year warranty. I am a Dewalt guy and use their tools every day at home or work but this situation has left me frustrated. I know have a couple hundred dollar paperweight and have to pony up for a new compressor.

Intermittent internal leak
Pros: portability/weight, ease of use, oil-free operation. I've used this compressor for driving staples while reupholstering furniture, inflating car/bike tires, blowing dust and water off all sorts of random objects, and drying dishes. It's easy to lug around the house wherever I want it, even upstairs.
Con #1: There is an internal leak and it's intermittent. It slowly drains the tank down to zero unexpectedly; sometimes you can hear it hissing after it fills. I'm worried that if I send it in for service, they won't be able to reproduce the problem and I'll lose all the time/money I spent shipping a >20lb item (not cheap). This developed within a few months of buying the tool and it's not what I'd expect when paying top dollar for DeWalt.
Con #2: There is a parasitic battery drain of about 8mA, even when the power switch is off. This means that the standard 60V/2000mA battery left in the compressor will be half drained within a few days, and dead within 2 weeks, even if the power switch is off and the compressor motor never cycles.
Con #3: The motor isn't as powerful as plug-in compressors and I do find myself waiting a surprisingly long time for it to recharge. That's a tradeoff I'm willing to accept for the improved portability.
Con #4: This website wants you to sign up to receive promotional emails in order to submit a review. It also initially refused to accept my review (and deleted all of the text) because I was running an ad blocker. Terrible programming.

Not what I expected
Purchased this tool thinking it would work for my needs. The 60v 6 amp battery only last for about 15 minutes of run time. 20v batteries last for about 5 minutes. It would be great for very small jobs. If they make a 120v cordless I would buy one because you can get the power converter for corded operation. Sadly will be bringing this back to the big box store.

Long running and perfect size to bring anywhere
We purchased this because it wasn't practical to bring our large air compressor around to jobs and we were very pleased with the performance of this air compressor. It works just as well as our corded one and it's convenient and use to carry around. We use this on job sites when we need tonuse our pneumatic tools and we are very impressed with the longevity of this product. We won't be toting around a large compressor or settling for a inferior smaller one from another brand. This is the best out there and I would recommend to anyone who needs durability and reliability for their job applications.

Worked One Time
Second time I used it, there was a funny sound and now it won't build pressure. Can't feel air escaping anywhere. To get it fixed I have to pay shipping one way on a tool I've used for maybe 2 minutes. Swell.

Disappointing
Thought this would be a good idea for the outbuilding/shop to do basic stuff like air up tires, blowing off tractor/mower decks, etc.
You'll need more that one battery as you use to a battery pretty quick so make sure you have a spare or two.
I guess expecting just to use it for airing up tires and the such was unrealistic as it runs pretty much all the time.
Can't see how this would be any good for anything but the very basic stuff. Maybe I just have a bad one but very disappointed and probably should have went with something else.
