Battery drains very fast
Battery drains every two weeks. Awful. I use this lock for a rental property that is in a different state than I am and the batteries will not stay charged for longer than a week. Huge waste of money

So far this has been a great purchase. Only 1 issue so far said it couldn't lock but yet bolt moved very free. Think it was just a electronic issue more then anything else. Open closed the bolt a few times and was back to working great hasn't happened since. Over all I think it's a great product

Good lock but with an unwanted limitation
This lock works well. However, it doesn't give you the option to unlock the door via voice control. Supposedly it has to do with a bad actor using voice control to unlock the door, but if I'm willing to accept that risk, I should be able to. Just warn anyone when turning on that function.

I just wish it had Auto unlock since it comes equipped with Bluetooth. Yale assure has auto unlock but Yale x nest does not.

I have 2. The locks (door gate) work perfectly
The locks work great. I can lock or unlock the door and gate with the key pads or remotely through by Google Home app. I like being able to give friends the code. I haven't used a physical key since I got the smart locks, but I do have an old-school key hidden away just in case. I don't expect to have to use it anymore, but I'm a plan B person.My neighbor's dog is my dog's bestie, and he has the same lock. I can run and take the friend on our run. So much better than a key under a fake rock. =)

Great lock.....when it's connected.
I read about connection issues in the reviews before purchasing but it wasn't until I actually owned it that I realized just how bad the issue is. I have a GOOGLE mesh network and this lock can not stay connected. After spending quite a while googling for answers I found out why. This lock for some reason does not like dual band networks that use a single SSID. It was very frustrating to not even find this issue through Google itself, but in forums where people were trying to solve the issue themselves. So DO NOT purchase this lock if you are going to be connecting via a mesh network that is dual band with a single SSID.When it's functioning this lock is excellent. Remote unlock, temporary codes, a complete log of what codes were used. It's the whole reason I bought the lock. Unfortunately, it does not work with my current internet set up. The fact that what I am trying to connect it with is another Google product makes the problem all the more frustrating.

Seems to work
I'm such a Google fanboy, so I want to give this 5 stars. And maybe I will update this after a few months of use. So far, the reason I'm only giving 4 stars is that the nest connect has dropped the lock twice in 2 weeks, forcing me to reset the lock once, and another time to delete it from my network and add it back in. It appears that by moving the connect module to a 100% line of sight location, only 8' from the lock seems to have fixed that problem for now. The previous location was 10' away, with a very partial wall with no internal blockers in it... But it's the only thing I could think of that was getting in the way. So that connect seems a little finicky. The door lock itself works great, looks actually really great on the outside. Inside, that whole deal is pretty huge and bulky, but it's the price you pay for trying to smart your house. I have a Baldwin rubbed bronze lockset on the front door, and I was concerned about the look and quality, but it's actually perfect.

EASY AF
EASY AF to set up. Even after messing up with some programming, resetting and reprogramming was easy too. The "mistake" I made was making another profile on the nest app. So, then i had to delete that profile (Home vs downstairs), and then combine it back with my Nest thermostat.

Eloquent Looks with Exceptional Functionality
First of all, my house is set up for Google Home and the Nest products link with Google to give me control of my electronics. Set up was very straight forward, both mechanically and online. Instructions were very clear and I was able to get the lock installed and set up in my Nest account in about 20 minutes. After setting up in my Nest account, I linked to Google Home so can use either APP to control the lock. Family members have their own code so we can track who/when is locking/unlocking the door. The lock comes with a Google Connect that plugs in an outlet between the lock and your router for Wi-Fi connectivity. Very pleased with the lock and its functionality.

Only 1 lock per Nest account
This lock offers everything you could want accept you can only have one lock per nest account and only four nest accounts per email address. I now have nine of these locks so I have three email accounts and nine nest accounts. If I had known this when I got my first Nest Yale lock, I would have researched for another brand.
