Old fashioned
Complicated to set and utterly last century. No reason for any thermostat not to have a simple set.

Important feature missing!
RTH6360 Series
Programmable Thermostat
RTH6360D1002
Problem:
No evidence of the following feature:
Em Heat (only for heat pumps with auxiliary heat)
I installed Thermostat in August ‘21(warm summer) and did not check whether the EM on our system was functional.
On 10/6/21 our condenser failed and we had a sudden need for EM Heat. After thorough searches of the system operation settings menus and Home screen, it seems no EM feature is accessible What am I doing wrong?
Notes: The RTH6360D1002 was specifically recommended by a Resideo support person and therefore I didn't check the reviews, which I now see are pretty much negative.
I purchased this thermostat is a replacement for our old Honeywell thermostat, with which, we had activated our EM system many times.

The Auto Feature Doesn't Work
The device does not automatically change from Heat to Cool. You have to manually switch modes. Now it won't continue heating when it reaches the "Cooling Mode" temperature. It just cuts off. Which is better than nothing, but not what I thought I was paying for.

Too complicated.
This product was installed in my home about three months ago. Since then I have never managed to program it to my needs according to the manual. I would set the heat to 72, but it heats the house to 74. I set it to cool at 70 but it cools to 68. It is really complicated to program and therefore I would not recommend this program to anyone.

Easy Installation
Bought this to replace an old Honeywell. Manuel is confusing and not informative if you have a heat pump.. But when I pulled up a YouTube video it explained it very well for my system. Overall not bad for the price. Will have to see how it performs.

Cycles too much
I bought the thermostat to try to get rid of the complicated CPH stuff from my other Honeywell and it appears I just traded it for one that I can't adjust the cycles at all. when the heater is on it 2.5min on 5 min off and electric bill sky rockets. The cooling cycle isn't much better.

Need to get a contractor? I am returning this.
Bad. I have Y1 terminal and I had to read until page 13 to find out this doesn't work. Not worth hiring a "qualified contractor". I am returning this.

Programs do not work
I set programs for heat to change at specific times and the thermostat does not follow the times. The program is set up to increase the heat in the AM at 7:15, however the heat starts at 6 AM. it follows all the other program settings except for the morning.

Terrible. Looking for something else.
I bought this at the end of the summer cooling season. Didn't try the heat function until later on. When I switch to heat, it is on and off, on and off. I bought this to replace a Honey well Tstat that I liked but is no longer available. Done with Honeywell.

decent price and it works fine
The only thing I don't really appreciate about this is that you can't setup a delta temperature. When it drops 1 degree from the setpoint, it cycles. When it hits the setpoint, it immediately stops. This causes my hvac to cycle way too often. I'd like to set it to a 2, maybe 3 degree delta before it cycles.
If this is settable I have not found how to change it.

Space Display Temperature
I believe this company produces good products. Maybe just this time I got a bad one, I am not sure. I am an engineer so I expect equipment to be accurate; the space displayed temperature I could never get an accurate reading so the space it was to be controlling can never get to where it should be. I checked the space temp. Against 3 other devices, the other 3 device displayed a similar or close temp. reading, the Honeywell RTH was consistently off 2 to 4 degrees warmer usually so the AHU & CU would not come on or go off when it needs to. When I set the RTH to a low temp the AHU & CU would come on but the space temp. display would not go down or very little while the other 3 devices quickly displayed the lower temperature. The other 3 device were right up next to the RTH thermostat so I don’t know what’s going on...

Replaced thermostat
We needed to replace the split unit thermostat upstairs. Easy to install and very easy to change batteries. Like the programmability too.

Easy to Install and program
I would have preferred a WiFi thermostat, but no C wire and too difficult to route. Installation was easy and programing was modestly easy. One does this twice a year, and like always, the book needs to come out to refresh your recollection. More intuative than the one I replaced.
