Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Buy [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked great for the first year I had it. I probably didn’t take great care of it as the return spring started to jam and had trouble loading nails. Other than the spring gun was good and definitely was nice not having to drag an air hose around everywhere.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this, but its my back up As the title says - I do love this gun, but its being used as my back up to the Paslode. The reason was due to its weight. I bought it because I didn't want to have to have a fuel, and the gun works flawlessly for framing, even into some hardwoods! The magazine size is great, the battery lasts brilliantly, but my feeble arms couldn't keep using it above my head all day.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Gun jams too much I've been a Dewalt guy for over 20 years and always had good results with them. I bought this for some jobs that I would need better portability without dragging a hose around. I found that the slightest knot in the wood causes the gun to jam with the nail stuck in the nose. In order to clear the jam, you need to use the supplied allen key to release the rail from the gun, pull out the nail and reassemble. This wouldn't be an issue if it happened OCCASIONALLY. Unfortunately, I was framing a bar and it jammed every 3rd nail. I ended up framing with a hammer and nails rather than use this piece of garbage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Horrible experience I'm using this for the first time after buying many months ago. It came with a sleeve of nails and 2 2ah batteries. So I tried practicing with the nails DeWalt supplied and everyone failed. Most the time the nails fail to go in 100 percent. They are 2in nails and roughly a half inch doesn't go in. They also appear to bend, the half inch sticking out. Now I'm just nailing 5/8 pine picketts so this should have an issue. This is a horrible force experience!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from save your money honestly.. I have used it for the season (5-7) months of framing, only use it for the roof. Being cordless has it advantages, but I waste so much time fixing the gun. it just keeps jamming and jamming .. it happens around 7 to 10 times a day.. so by now its not worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stomps Milwaukee To be honest Milwaukee was my favorite framing gun but till I used my friend Dewalt. I own now 12 Dewalt framing guns. Easy to use and quick to set up. No need for compressor and air lines. Very useful on smaller jobs and in remote locations, yet good enough to be used on a large job. Great battery life. Much lighter than Milwaukee. Powerful and sinks nail to adjusted depth.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dewalt 30degree Framing Gun Can’t drive in 3” and up nails. I’ve even tried a 6 to 9amp battery and adjusted the depth still with no luck. The nailer wasn’t even used to its fullest potential maybe it was defective not sure pretty bummed out about it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Plenty of Power, Very Few Jams [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this framer for about 11 months now. I'm a roofing contractor in Florida and I specialize in roof repair. We are always needing to sister on a 2x4 to a rafter and do some basic framing. This thing is perfect for the job. Fits in some tight spots and NO COMPRESSOR! Saves so much time. I use the standard nails from the big box store and have maybe one jam every other strip. It's usually because I hit a hurricane strap or something. The two settings are useful because this thing will overdrive a nail on the high setting. Plenty of power. Also, it runs for a long time on the 5AH batteries. Overall, love this tool for what its meant to do.
