Love the feeders, not the silicone flower centers.
I've had More Birds hummingbird feeders for many years and love them. The last ones I got have the silicone centers in the flowers, which I thought was a good idea. But where I live, the centers rot out after one year of use. Maybe because we have months of high temperatures. Fortunately I bought a lot of replacement all-plastic flowers for my older feeders and they do fit the new ones if you press really hard. Right now we have 10-12 feeders going at one time.

Redesign is a huge disappointment
We’ve been using the Big Gulp Feeders for 8 years (we are on the migratory path and go through multiple feeders a day in the spring and summer). I just reordered two to replace some that aged out or met with accidents, and am extremely disappointed with the new design. • The new basin cover (plastic red piece) has only 5 feeding ports instead of 7 which I wouldn’t have minded if they were as sturdy as my 8 year old basin covers • The new basin (clear plastic bottom) and basin cover are different sizes so they’re not interchangeable with old parts - this becomes problematic when you are cycling through 10 feeders every couple of days • The placement of the feeders and the cleaning methods we used were the same, but our two new feeder covers are warped after two uses. The feeding basin covers no longer fit on the bottles and are now completely useless. The wide neck design is so easy to clean the and high capacity of this feeder is still incredible, but the redesigned basin covers and bottoms make them unusable. I would happily purchase additional covers of the old design, but they have been discontinued and are unavailable.

Doesn’t keep nectar in base
I have no issue with my feeder crashing to the ground like other people have reported. The feeder is big, easy to keep clean, never leaks, and easy to refill with nectar. My issue is i don’t think my feeder refills the base. I continuously have to go out and tip it over so there is enough nectar in the base for the birds to drink. I make sure the base is tightly screwed on each time i fill it. What am i doing wrong?

Great Hummingbird Feedee
The number one reason I rate this highly is due to the fact that’s easy easy easy to clean. The cleaning of hummingbird feeders is vital for their survival. It’s big enough that they don’t mind sharing and that’s a big plus too!

Bring back the old Big Gulp model.
The old model Big Gulp was great. It had 7 feeding stations, not 5 feeding stations like the newly designed Big Gulp. Also, the old design didn’t have a leak problem like many report with the new model. I don’t want the new model, but I would buy two of the older model if I could find them.

Great feeder for a busy yard!
Perfect feeder for my yard brimming with hummingbirds! I have 18 feeders of various sizes throughput my yard, all of which get plenty of activity, so I am constantly cleaning and refilling. This one doesn’t require so much attention due to the volume it holds, so my cats stay entertained watching from their window bed. Some of the feeders I have aren’t that easy to clean, but the Big Gulp & the Garnet are the best. They fully come apart so all areas can be thoroughly cleaned, reassembled and refilled, without having to soak first. Even thought they have built-in ant moats, I still hang them from another, deeper ant moat, to make sure the other birds don’t drink all the water, which they do at times, and to keep the ants away from the feeders I hang in trees. I just wish the little flowers were a little more sturdy, as some of them break when I snap them back on.

Crashing down
I was surprised to see only the top part of the hummingbird feeder hanging from the porch today. Thinking I could just pick it back up I was surprised to see the bottom portion unusable. I was looking for replacement parts when I came across the other reviews of similar occurrences. I love the 40 ounce option but I feel I wasted my money since replacement parts are not even available.
