Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kitchen emergency A copper pipe in my kitchen began leaking suddenly. I was buying supplies and dreading a plumber's bill when I came across the couplers. They saved me time and major money!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Safe repair Shark Bite fittings are great for home repairs because it makes a great water title connection without having to fire up a torch and risk starting a fire. We use them as a safe alternative to soldering in homes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A real life saver in tight spots. I had to replace an outside faucet. Inside the house the ½ " copper pipe was mounted up in the rafters. If I tried to solder the new connection, a fire would have been a concern. With a ½" coupling, it was a piece of cake. I love SharkBite products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Far, So Good. Installed today. Quick install, simple and no leaks so far. Instructions on packing lacking, but verified steps online to make sure I wasn't missing anything. Interestingly, water tank service people used the same fitting to repair a leak I had on the tank piping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hot water lines--no problem! I bought a pair of the 18" braided stainless lines w/shut-off valves to connect a new hot water heater. I was extremely skeptical at first. Surely anything that said "push on and walk away" was too good to be true. I pushed them on and walked away. Never saw even a hit of a leak. I am completely sold. You will want a simple copper pipe cutter (I got the compact one from Ridgid for ~$12). It gives you a nice, even squared up opening to push the connector on. Still cheaper than a torch, flux, solder, more copper pipe (which you'll still need the cutter for). If it leaks when you put it on, it's not installed correctly. But it's hard to mess these up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very easy to install I followed the instructions to a tee and all went well. I've been periodically checking the coupling for sweating or leaks. All dry and holding. I'm a bit nervous on how the device can still turn on the copper pipe but it's doing what you guaranteed.
