Not what it used to be
I have been a long time user of Scott toilet paper. We started when we bought our home in1975. We have a septic system and have never had an issue. However I will never buy any again as it has changed radically in terms of wiping. It’s like using tissue paper to get the job done. It’s terrible and all our guests agreed. WHAT DID YOU DO SO WRONG!

Not the same; A roll can't last a week.
We have used this Scott tissue for decades and have always been very satisfied. It is the only tissue that doesn't clog the old, worn pipes in our 100+ year-old house. In recent years, however, in addition to smaller size sheets, the paper has become so thin that one has to use twice as much for the job. I find it hard to believe the "12 rolls last 12 weeks" slogan on the 12-roll package. My wife and I jokingly say that can only be true if that household consists of one man with chronic constipation. We will continue to use this tissue because of our old plumbing but are really sad to see the quality deteriorate.

We have been Scott 1000 sheet toilet paper for ever. This is the only toilet paper we buy. The price is right and it does the job!

I only gave it two stars because if you wrap enough you can actually wipe. My grandpa buys this because he’s a man that doesn’t have to wipe often and it doesn’t clog toilets like at all (because it’s so thin). I wouldn’t recommend if you have to wipe often 😅

Scott 1000 is now too thin to be of any use.
Used to be our favorite.-no longer The latest package has paper one can see through. It shreds, and does not hold up on wiping. You have lost this family as customers due to quality degradation.

waaaaay too thin
The Scott 1000 toilet paper is too thin. I tried wrapping around several layers, but the outer two or three always "peel" or "flake" off, leaving quite a mess. I didn't even finish the first roll - into the dumpster it went.

What happened? !!
Using this since 1971 but no longer. Quality has become awful. Fingers go through & using double the normal amount! Please go back to the old formula so we can feel comfortable using Scott 1000’s again.
