Revived Drexel Wood Briar II Coffee Table
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought both the Classic Black stain and the Polyurethane Matte Finish to restore our 40 year old brown Drexel Wood Briar II (pecan wood) furniture. We wanted to update our old furniture to use in our new Modern Farmhouse. The final product was a perfect blend of black stain and pecan wood grain features. I trusted the Miniwax products would give our old furniture a modern look that saved us replacement costs and preserved our solid wood furniture value. We are extremely pleased with the results. Provides A flawless finish.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the wipe on poly finish. So easy to use and the finish looks professionally done. I finished 2 solid wood doors and the trim around them. I only use Minwax products. They are the best I have tried. I used the satin sheen for this.

Excellent protective topcoat!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used gloss Minwax Fast-Drying Polyurethane as a topcoat on a coaster I made for a Christmas gift, and am very pleased with the results! Our office did a name-draw gift swap, and my friend whose name I drew is from Paraguay, and they requested a coffee-themed gift, so I got them a fun mug and a gift card to a local coffee shop, then decided to add a personal touch by making a coaster from Spanish Cedar and Ipe/Lapacho, two trees native to Paraguay; Lapacho trees make for a beautiful sight when in bloom in the capital, Asunción (look it up, seriously)! I used boiled linseed oil to "pop the grain" and add depth to the finish, then put on a few coats of dewaxed shellac, and used Minwax Fast-Drying Polyurethane thinned about 50/50 with mineral spirits as the final topcoats for protection, and it came out great! I trust the polyurethane to provide plenty of scratch protection to keep this piece looking beautiful for my friend!

Great product and great shine!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the Minwax Wipe on Poly all the time on my wood bowls. Leaves a great shinny finish, food safe and lasts forever. I use 5 light coats, and works!!
