Description
Spectracide Weed Stop For Lawns controls more than 200 types of weeds as listed - and it won't harm your lawn when used as directed. This ready-to-use formula kills down to the root, with visible results in hours - weeds will begin wilting and browning overnight. It controls major broadleaf weeds, including dandelion, chickweed and clover, and also kills poison ivy, poison oak, blackberry and kudzu (see product label for complete list). This product is rainfast in 6 hours, so it won't wash off. This ready-to-use formula is ideal for spot treatments - requires no mixing. Some hard-to-kill weeds may require re-treatment. Wait at least 30 days between applications - some weeds can take that long to die. Spray just enough Spectracide Weed Stop For Lawns to lightly cover weeds - for best results, apply when daytime temperatures are between 60 and 85 degrees. Do not apply when daytime temperatures are above 85 degrees as lawn injury can occur. Read the entire label before using.

Works well!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This weed stop for lawns works well and met my expectations. The spray nozzle made spraying the unwanted weeds simple. Took approximately two to three days to take full effect. Clean up was easy. Just wipe the container down and place in storage. Make sure you wash you hands after use.

Be gone weeds!

So far the weeds are under control, but if some come back….I’ll be READY! Until then I’m going to enjoy my beautiful lawn.

Weed killer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works really great. I tried it out on a small patch of my yard. Then moved on to a bigger area. This has got the weeds gone and my grass looking great. I have use it on the sidewalk also to kill so weeds. This is a great size bottle and very easy to carry and use.

My Lawn Looks Great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I like about Spectracide Weed Stop is that it is premixed and has a sprayer included. This made such a difference in time and convenience for me. I made sure to pick a dry day with no rain in the forecast since it needs 6 hours of dry weather to take full effect. I sprayed enough on the weeds to fully cover them. The next morning the weeds were noticeably withered and browned. My grass was unaffected. I have continued using for the past month, spraying when I see a weed pop up. My lawn has never looked better.

Patience and repeat applications get the job done
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Spectracide Weed Stop for Lawns in the ready to use gallon jug does its work slowly over 2 or 3 weeks with repeat applications every 3 days. All those different weeds are producing seeds every day, the seeds land on the ground, and a new crop of weeds starts growing. Killing the weeds completely all the way down through the roots and killing the emerging seedlings before they can produce seeds was my goal. Wearing full-coverage clothes, gloves, and a face mask, I sprayed the weeds and poison ivy growing in an area along the pathway at the edge of our woods on a calm day with no wind. The constant pumping was hard on my hand, so I took breaks between bouts of spraying. By the third day, there was no noticeable difference, and I sprayed again and continued spraying every third day. The weeds were showing distress, and some were dying back to the ground after 3 applications. By the end of two weeks, there was a noticeable difference, so I continued the periodic spraying for another week. I did purchase 2 more gallons in order to have enough to keep going with the intermittent spraying. One week after the final application, the Weed Stop has completely killed the poison ivy and weeds, and the area is once more an enjoyable place for leisurely walks. I wish it worked quicker, but perhaps the slowness is necessary to protect desirable plants and wildlife.

Works great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My lawn already looked pretty good with just a few weeds. After I used this Weed Stop, it looks even better! The 1 gallon ready to use is so simple with easy to understand directions. I will definitely be using this again if any weeds decide to show back up.

Easy to use and works well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This weed stop works well on some of the weeds I had growing in my yard. It was easy to apply and did not cause any issues with the grass surrounding the weeds. I will continue to use this on a regular basis.

Root killer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this on a small patch that is infested with weeds, and I was very pleasantly surprised when all of them died and have not grown back up since then. The packaging says that it kills roots and I can confirm that!
