Pool Chemicals
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Sister-in-law needed someone to close her pool for her so my wife and I went to her house for the weekend to close it for her. The pool was pretty green, but with a heavy dose of (HTH pool care algae guard Ultra) the next morning the pool was clear enough to close. So we continued to winterize it. I would recommend this HTH algae guard Ultra to anyone who has a pool.

Very Satisfied
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my Pool Care about a month ago, I'm very satisfied with the results and how well it works, I don't have a big pool but it's decent and it cleans it out very well pretty easy to use no odor, and I have a clean pool.

Works Great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a swimming that had some visible algae. We tried so many things to get rid of it with no luck. We tried this HTH Algae Guard Ultra and what a difference it made! We added 16 ounces of this to our pool. It is recommended for 16 ounces per 10,000 gallons of pool water every 3 months. The bottle is a 32 ounce bottle so we will get two uses out of it. We noticed very quickly that the algae was less and less. We kept our pump going while adding it and put in different spots throughout the pool. After 15 minutes of adding to the pool it is safe to swim. Since the first dose we have not seen any algae in our pool. We just added in the last 16 ounces to our pool as we are done and closing it up for the season. It says it will help control the algae growth during the winter, off season. I am so excited about this product and hope to add more of the HTH products to our line up for next season.

Works well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in an area with high humidity and periods of no rain and then days of rain, especially this summer. This algae guard works very well to quickly get rid of the algae that we've had happen and I feel it has helped prevent the occurrence of heavy algae problems. It does foam a little, nothing major, and I use just a small but of de-foamer and it goes away. I really like that we can use this and swim immediately. Very clear directions and measurement markers in the bottle.

This works!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our saltwater pool has had a wonderful Summer! After a bought of heat and a low chlorine level, I noted an algae was present. I’m so happy to have found this product- knocked it right out after following the initial treatment instructions and then keeping up with the ongoing maintenance- super easy! The product doesn’t foam which is a big plus for a beautiful clear pool with the crystal clear clarity as all strive for. Simple to use…. Dosage: 12oz per 10k gallons. Maintenance Dosage of: 3 oz per 10k gallons, weekly and this will maintain your levels beautifully!

Didn't work for me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a hot tub that has turned to the green side. I added the required amount and ran the hot tub but the next day I saw no difference.
I'm not the best at taking care of the spa. All these chemicals intimidate me. I'm not sure what I did wrong.
The color of the chemical is strange. It's an electric blue.

Works for 3 months and is so easy to use!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 10,000 gallon pool and this 16oz product treats up to 10,000 gallons, so that’s perfect. I put the product In my pool according to instructions in different spots and left the pump running for a few hours. I have a green and yellow type algae in my pool, and this product went to work immediately. I love the fact that this product continuously controls algae for 3 months! Really helpful product and worth the price.

Excellent product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This HTH Algae Guard is excellent! I know sometimes you can feel hopeless when your pool turns green and cloudy and you can feel super discouraged and like it will be a lot of work. The algae guard is so amazing that it literally starts working instantly. It starts fighting the algae immediately and you can see it start to work. It only takes a few hours before the pool is crystal clear and it stays that way for a while before you have to treat again! I highly reccomend this product! Quick, easy, and effective!
