Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great mower I bought My riding mower at the begining of the summer and have used it all summer. It is a great mower, and turns very well. It has more than enough power. I also bought an extra large three bag grass catcher and the mower fills the bags with no problems. My only complante is it will leave a long blade of grass here or there.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible cut I bought this new mower expecting a a great machine that left a smooth, even looking cut lawn. What I got was an expensive piece of junk. A blindfolded 3 year old with plastic scissors could get a better cut than this mower. I wish I could get my money back from the retailer, I will never buy husqvarna brand again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just perfect This is my second husqvarna. It is great and a wonderful riding tractor. One thing I did notice about it is I didn't check the air pressure in the tires so I did today and the back ones were 20 lbs "30 PSI" over the regestered PSI of 10 PSI and so were the fronts ones. I guess I thought since it was new and from the factory the pressures were fine. It now cuts better and even rides better. My fault. Changed the oil and filter after 5 hours.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Mower! I bought this mower back in April of this year and it has performed great! I had an older one of the same model from some years back and this one is even better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Second one Tried JD and did not like the feel. This is my second rider from Husqvarna. Went from a 46 to a 48 V-twin. Only reason for change, 46 had a tree lay across it in a storm. Ride, feel, ability all the same just bigger. Keeps the wife happy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from YTH 23v48 Ok, this review is based on the 2012 model which I bought new and just sold yesterday. It came with a 23 HP Briggs and Stratton and a stamped deck at that time. I had a few problems with it over the years I owned it. In the first month, the front tires would not keep air and would go flat in between mowing. After numerous attempts at getting the tires to seal to hold air, I took the tires to the store where I bought. They paid to have a tube put in both tires. So that solved the tire issue. In year 2 of ownership, a deck mount broke its weld from the deck. I took the deck to the dealer and a warranty replacement deck shell was given to me. Total down time was 2 weeks because all that was replaced was the shell and that had to be ordered and the guts of the original deck reinstalled in the new shell. In year 5 the replacement deck broke a weld on yet another mount. Took it to the dealer. Dealer said the replacement deck did not have a warranty. So I took the deck to a weld shop and had them weld the mount back on and on both sides like it should have been done from the factory. Total down time was a week. Other than those issues, the mower ran like a champ for the 7 years and 337 hours I put on it. I will be looking to buy new mower today and I am considering a Husqvarna zero-turn or possibly another manufacturer if I see the same weaknesses in the deck welds.
