Just follow the directions
It works just like it says. All you have to do is follow the directions. All weeds gone and an emerald green lawn. High price is worth it when you see the results.

Overpriced not effective
Really didnt do much for my yard. Nitrogen part works. Weedkiller didnt. Regular weed n feed worked better. Will see if it has any effect on crabgrass this year

Excellent product/must follow directions
I purchased the product last November. The product was applied around 4/20/2023. Although my lawn was a little moist, it was a little too windy. Twenty four hours later I did water the lawn and a week later I did apply a PH enhancer with calcium to elevate my New England soil between 6.8 to 7.2. It would have been better to correct the PH prior to fertilization. Lime takes up to 6 months to elevate the Ph. Calcium responds almost immediately. Keep in mind that if you want to move your PH 1 point (6 to 7) forty pound bag will increase 1000 square one point. Thats ten bags for 10,000 square feet. You should test you soil in multiple sections of your lawn with a simple PH test or.
In conclusion, I found that this product has worked much better than the four step program and I have tried them all. I am sure this is the result in the regulations with lawn fertilizers.

More dandelion's then ever!
Bought a bag 2 weeks ago and spread on grass after running sprinkler system for 15 minutes in each zone as it states to apply on wet grass. To this day i have more and more weeds and dandelion's as ever before. Product doesn't seem to work. Wouldn't reamend it if trying to prevent or kill weeds in your yard.

Awesome Results!!! Check the photos !
Retired and I hate lawn maintenance! Followed Scotts website starting last fall, didn't rake, used winterizer then this spring triple action 4 weeks ago!! NOT a single dandelion or crab grass, look at my neighbors yards in the photos for a comparison!! Seeing is believing!

Scotts triple action fertilizer
Had to throw it in the trash, would not go through my john deere tow behind spreader. All 4 bags, the fertilizer was too moist. Broke my spreader as well.

Product Does Not Work as Indicated
This is the second bag that I have purchased in the last seven months. Applied the first bag in the fall (November). Made sure it was applied at the correct rate and watered in good. Applied the next dose in late March, once again watered it in good. Applied a 3rd dose about 10 days ago. It has not killed any of the Dollarweed or clover. All of the doses were applied with a Scotts spreader, using the directions on the bag for coverage. Very disappointed!

Product does not work, period
Applied as directed, on wet lawn, then dry for days. No weeds died, more weeds appeared larger.

So far so good . .
I applied the product on Friday, May 5th and most of the many of the weeds are beginning to wilt and lean over like the average citizen found on Kensington Ave in Philadelphia, PA.

Did not work.
I applied this product about 3 weeks ago and it did not work as advertised. Still have a similar amount of weeds as I did prior to application. Disappointed to say the least and wondering what product I can use now without damaging my lawn.

Scotts triple action weed control and crabgrass
I got this two weeks ago and applied on a 70 degree day and temps have been in 60s since. Lets just say you need to read the directions. Ill Make sure to wet lawn before applying so it sticks to the leaves. I didnt get much affect but it was because I forgot to wet lawn first. Expensive mistake. pretty specific. probably leave the crabgrass for manual upkeep and use Scotts 2 next time.

Works as Advertised
Put this on my lawn this early spring after two mowings. Applied when the grass was wet and we had a big rain storm about 36 hours later that washed it down to the soil. My lawn had two or three dandelions at the time and has none now ever though my neighbors yards have many, many dandelions. The clover, which is what I was trying to get rid of has died off in spectacular fashion and those little purple flowers with the broad leaves have nearly all gone away.

It didn't affect a single weed in my yard.
I applied this last Friday on a nice, clear 60 degree day. Saturday, Sunday, and Monday it rained lightly, so I figured it would be the perfect combination to allow the weed killer and fertilizer to soak into the ground. It is now Tuesday afternoon and in the 60's again and there are more weeds now than Friday. 100% dissatisfied with the results.

Very Disappointed
I am a regular user of Scott products. Literally the only product I use... This is the only product I haven't gotten the results from. The Dandelions are still coming and I haven't noticed any benefits of significance.

Scotts Triple Action treatment
Very disappointed in my purchase of Scotts triple action treatment. I think I have more dandelions and chick weed after using triple action I used to use pre-emergent than plus 2 and never had issues. Will go
back to the pre-emergent and plus 2

Very disappointed with recent purchase
I am 63 years old and have been a homeowner for 30 years. I have always used Scott's fertilizer products for my yard. Yesterday I fertilized my yard with crabgrass control. When I opened the two 15,000 square foot bags I had purchased, both were very clumpy and I had to break up a number of clumps to be able to spread this on my yard. Having to handle a herbicide that much is not something I want to do. I worked in agriculture for 40 years so I am very familiar with the correct consistancy of fertilizer. Scott's is a more expensive fertilizer than other cheaper brands. Paying extra you expect better quality.

Bag purchased doesn't show Zoysia grass.
The bag I purchased doesn't show that this product can be used on Zoysia grasses. However, the Scott's website does. Can someone from Scott's please confirm?

Love the product
It works well and does keep dandelions and other weeds away. This year so far I have limed grass with pellets over seeded with Scotts Rapid Speed grass and was wondering how soon before I can use my Turf Builder Triple Action?

The triple x has been great .
This triple X Has been great . The only thing I need . The pre emergent for Crab grass works better than the commercial companies I have used . In Maine we wait for the for forsythia to bloom . The soil has generally reached the right temperature for the crab grass inhibitor to work correctly. I only use it twice a year in my lawn, always gets compliments.

If it didn't work for you, you are the problem!
Applied 03/31/23 (in Massachusetts) picture shows before and after (14 days later). The small grayish areas on the after pic are areas that were re-seeded a few days ago.

I applied this to my lawn and have not seen a positive change at all. If anything, I have seen more weeds come up since I have used it. I followed all of the directions for application and still saw no change.
