Manufacturer NameSCOTTS LAWNS
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Failed Lawn I started the process as soon as the ground was warm enough to germinate the seed did all the things the manufacturer recommended except I put down straw then watered 29,000 gallons of water plus the rain we had. All the time and money I put into my lawn I ended with very little tall fescue. Terrible!!!!!!! My question, how do I get my money back?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Weeds! I seeded my backyard 3 weeks ago with Scott’s Tall Fescue Mix. Yard was just turned over and weed free. Lawn is growing in nicely, including patches of weeds that make up about 20-25% of my lawn. Too many weeds, would not use this product again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tall Fescue Grass I had brought your Bermuda Grass seeds and did not have a problem. I just decided to take it up because of it's aggressive growing. I decided I wanted Tall Fescue Grass so after taking up the Bermuda grass I put down The Fescue Grass I had know problem with the seeds growing . But the grass is thin I don't like the thin blades of grasss and when walked on it lays flat.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Why the seed treatment? I bought this seed this week and was disappointed to find it treated with mefenoxam for fungicide. First, the bag says nothing about either the treatment or the effect. I assume I paid extra for the treatment which I don't care about. Also, blue seed (treatment). Great. So when it doesn't germinate I'm gonna have blue seed leftover next spring? I know they have to color the treatments for clarity, but again, I didn't want treated seed. I think I'm done with Scott's

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quick germination first of all they're not Tall Fescue they're fine fesuce but i don't know which fine fescue they're, the blade is very fine.. to avoid confusion scotts should label "grass seed mix" FOR Tall fescue lawn. this bag of seeds are super fast germinate.. they take only 3 days to germinate (not all, i would say 70% of them germinate quicker).. the temp in my area is range 67-85f (August) and i water twice/day. i bought the wrong bag i supposed to buy Sun and Dense Shade but this bag, Full Sun and Partial Shade also works fine but i don't know if they die in the long run.. my grass is about 3 weeks old i hope they don't die on me because of the shade...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's working!! We had a very patchy and unhealthy lawn filled with dandelions, moss and thatch. We spent about a month killing weeds and moss, de-thatching and aerating. 10 days ago, we spread the seed as directed for overseeding, topped with a 1/4" layer of lawn soil and watered as needed to keep the top layer of soil moist (quite a few waterings, since it is July and we have had very little to no rain and warm temps). Lo and behold, after 6 days tiny blades started poking through and at 10 days we have new baby grass sprouts all over!!! It is filling in very nicely and is starting to look like the lawn I always dreamed of!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT FOR MY PURPOSE This product was perfect for over seeding areas of concern. My yard is normally lush and green. This seed only added to and blended right in with my already nice lawn. I was not sure if this seed would satisfy my needs but it absolutely did. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Scotts seed products always grow I have many areas in my lawn that require annual patching. While other products work I always seem to get quicker and better looking results with Scotts seeds. All you need to do is break up the bare soil with a rake, add the seeds generously, cover with some fresh clippings and keep water on there for several days.
