Great growth

I did see that it was a little strong but I was able to research ways to fix that problem quickly. Overall ow ould definitely recommend this product and I will be purchasing for myself and best friend.

Pretty great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say I really enjoyed this product. It was easy enough to use and the results came out just as expected. Maybe even worked a bit better than I anticipated. My grass was basically not grass anymore just weeds. So I cleaned it out and used this product. Now my grass area is starting to finally go back to normal and have grass. The grass itself is a good looking grass. I'd recommend this to all.

Great for reseeding in Spring
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Reseeding with Rabid grass is best done during spring months. If you dethatch your lawn, so and reseed afterwards, you’ll get a good coverage of new seedlings very quickly. Cost is reasonable especially if you don’t need specialized seed. It’s a mixture so please check ingredients before planting if necessary.

Rapid Grass has made my best yard yet.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Scotts Rapid Grass for two years to fill in thin areas and overseed my bermuda lawn. This year with quite a bit of rain during the germination period, watering was less necessary. I applied mid-spring after our temperature got up about 85 degrees. I saw the first shoots about two weeks later and after 6 or 7 weeks, the lawn began filling in and greening up. Between the rain and the Scotts Rapid Grass, I now have a thick green yard that is in the best shape I have managed to date.

almost like magic!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] didn't know i needed this - i used it to supplement a sparse area of my back yard, which doesn't get as much love as the front, because neighbors can't see the back yard, lol. However, this came up really thick and was as easy as they say. I had to cordon off the area to prevent the dogsfrom getting in there, but once established, this spot is a favorite for both dogs and kids. It seems pretty durable too.

HELP!

Rapid Grass Bermuda seed is another great product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Scotts Rapid Grass Bermuda grass seed is excellent. We live in DFW area of Texas and yard is mostly clay. Most of yard is healthy St. Augustine but we have a few areas where the St. Augustine just does not want to grow. Areas are almost like where you might think a grass/weed killer had been sprayed.
I rough up these areas with a rake, add seed and lightly rake dirt back over but then lightly also cover with grass clippings from cutting the yard.
I water the areas in the morning and again around 6 pm. In about 2 weeks i have very thin grass blades coming up and about 2 weeks later the areas are filling in.
We have 2 large fur babies that we got from the shelter and they do everything they can to tear up my back yard.
However by feeding it regularly with Scotts and mulching instead of bagging, we have one of the lushest and most beautiful yards on the street.
Very pleased with the Rapid Grass and all of the Scotts products!!

It works!

Great for bare and brown spots.

I used the rapid grass and hoped for the best. It exceeded my expectations. My bare spots are all filling in and looking much between. There is green grass instead of dead thatch and dirt in those spots. Thanks Scott’s.

Once the weather got warm, RAPID GRASS took off!

As you can see from the attached photos, the area is almost completed covered with new grass - in less than 3 weeks. But for the unseasonably cool weather, I'm sure the entire area would be covered. I really like the texture of the grass that is covering the area.

Worked Perfectly, quality product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotts Turf Builder Rapid Grass Bermudagrass is an excellent product. I followed the directions to a T. In about 7-8 days I started to see the results. I was attempting to cover a hilly area in my yard. It was doing beautifully until we had several inches of rain over and over again. Unfortunately it was too young to hold up to all that rain at one time. I am in the process of trying again so I can show everyone how fast, and how well it took. Call it bad timing, Mother nature got the best of me. But I could see how fast it grew, and how well it took.I know Bermudagrass, and if Mother nature will give me a break, I'll have it made, will submit pics.

Nice green lawn

It has grown in nicely but I don't notice any difference from the regular Scotts bermudagrass seed that I used last year at the same time. I have found that to keep my bermudagrass lawn green (in Phoenix Az) I have to water 2-3 times a day at least until the monsoon rains start. My landscaper told me that I have the best lawn in the city. ( note: not too many lawns as most have desert landscaping)

Rapid Grass
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve always had a problem establishing a lawn from seed due to the poor and type of soil I have in the Ozark mountain region of Arkansas. Scotts has done a excellent job of providing a blend of healthy seed with high germination rate to help me to achieve some what of a yard. I can only imagine what this product would produce with better growing conditions. Thank you Scotts for all you do for lawns across America.

Not a great deal of luck with this product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not a lot of luck - we've had a few blades come up. I prepped the ground as instructed - cleared it, put down a layer of topsoil, scattered the seeds with a Scott's spreader, raked them in to just below the surface, and watered according to instructions. Not a lot of growth. I just covered another area that I had cleared of weeds and am hoping for a better result.

Green grass here we come!

Must have for areas that need grass
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rapid has helped in our yard when our backyard get the most road and our phone cable are located. The rapid grass is easy to put down and recommend using gloves when handling the bag. This stuff works and have seen growth in the backyard. I will using all summer until I get my empty patches with grass on it.

Just in time…

Fantastic product

Gradual vs Rapid
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My experience has been that while it says Rapid, the growth is better expressed as gradual. The area in which this product has been used is a front yard which gets a tremendous amount of Sun all afternoon. We may need to water more frequently.

Best product and easy to use!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works better than I thought. I absolutely love this Scott’s turf builder rapid grass. After a very cold winter, my lawn was beat and run down. I was skeptical to try this but i can't believe the difference. It was easy to use and spread out with the wiz spreader. You do have to water it twice a day and make sure the soil is damp, but the results speak for themselves. My lawn turned out great and is still growing. This is the best product I have ever used on my lawn.

Good product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Solid use, especially if you do not want to spend more on sod. If you have a lot of birds be prepared for them to try to eat the seed. I used this to replace a garden section that we pulled up. I’ve also seen people on YouTube grow it in a container and then place it into the yard.

Nice green grass from seed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time using this seed mix. I prepped the area of my front yard with a metal rake to loosen the soil and put this seed down. Setup a sprinkler to water twice a day, except when it rained. I had grass growing in less than a week. The temperatures were in the mid 70's all week and with the rain and the watering this stuff grew. Still growing and will mow at 5 weeks or so. Will add some fertilizer at 6 to 8 weeks to help it to grow better. Happy with the results
