Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Northeast Mix is a premium blend crafted for northeast lawns with root-building nutrition for a stronger lawn; The combination seed, fertilizer, and soil improver can be used for growing a new lawn or overseeding an existing lawn in 3 steps; 1) prep the area 2) apply the seed, and 3) rake the seed into the soil; For best results, plant seed in the spring or fall when daily average soil temperatures are consistently between 55°F and 70°F, or air temperatures between 60°F and 80°F; Water daily or as needed to keep the soil moist for at least 3 weeks or until seedlings reach 2 inches in height; Scotts goes to great lengths to bring you the freshest seed available, incorporating everything from the packaging design to the product formula and the seed itself, so you can grow your own thick, beautiful lawn; For best results, always use fresh product; After opening, plant within the season.

Worked great as a spring overseeding
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product in the spring.I usually put my grass seed down in the fall. but i got a late start this year , I can honestley say it did not really mater with this product .I used it to fill in some bare spots and the grass grew better then expected and blended in just fine.

Pleasantly surprised - Patches filled in quickly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our lawn had some bare areas where our daughter practiced pitching her softball. I live in southern PA, so this year's weather has been seasonally cooler, not sunny or rainy. I wanted to get this project going before her softball tournament season kicked into full gear. So I followed the directions, properly prepared the area, sprinkled the seed/builder, and waited patiently. Even with the cloudy weather, I've seen SO MUCH improvement in the past two weeks!!! I have pictures of when I first prepared the area, and then you can see now that after a few weeks, the grass is coming in and is over 2 inches long! I recommend this for high-traffic areas, especially areas with patchy grass. I plan to use this to fill in our other regions where the grass is thinning. Kudos Scotts!

Grows quickly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice grass seed for the northeast. It is easy to spread and sprouts very quickly. This grows quickly and filled in areas that were bare and desperately needed grass. My lawn looks so much better now that the bare spots are gone.

great option for NY area
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent seeds option for New York Area. Typically I used the Scott sun and shade. This year I tried the Northeast Mix and get excellent lush green lawn. Seeded the lawn in late march this year do to the mild winter.

Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Northeast Mix
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Scotts products before and am always pleased with the results. My lawn over the Winter needed re-seeding and I used this product. It has been a very strange Spring here in Northeast Pennsylvania with some days being warm and others very cold and dry. After much needed rain the results I feel are getting my lawn to where it should be. Many have complemented me on my lawn and how great it always looks.

Amazing growth with little bit of tender love care
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is excellent I put it down and it was sprouting within the week recommend that it is watered twice a day till it takes root I have tried other grass seed and none has worked as good as Scott’s

Grass seed looks good.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The grass seed came up quickly. It filled some barespots that I did not get to seed last fall. Based on how good it looks I will continue to do some fill in repair work with this mix. So far I have been very pleased with the Scottsgrass seed products that I have received.

Easy one stop shop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The idea of this “one stop shop” in a bag definitely suited my needs for our lawn. The bag was easy to open, the seed was easy to spread and easily identifiable on our spots we needed it the most. It has been over 10 days since spread and still awaiting results.
