Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Poor Results I got 15 lb bag for re-seeding. I have previously done full lawn renovation and used Kentucky 31 tall fescue grass seed and saw germination within 7 days. I used this grass, month and half later just see some places where the grass grew which is very thin. I actually covered the lawn seed with hay as well which I did with Kentucky Tall Fescue. Waste of Money, would not recommend this at all. To add I water 2 times a day keeping the soil moist.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a great product! Used this product to thicken up an existing lawn that was doing poorly. I can't believe how great the lawn now looks, and with very little prep! Will definitely be purchasing Scotts in the future! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sorry I bought it. Usually use Sun and Shade grass seed mix which works well, but couldn't find it in stores. All that was available was the Fall Mix, so I purchased it for the first time. Bad choice. NO grass. Planted as directed, in different spots in September. Proper soil, water. Weather was fine. No snow, frost, extreme temps. etc. Never grew in any of the areas planted. Can't find receipt to request refund. Bummer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Full grass and easy to use Had a low area in back of yard and ordered dirt to build up in Oct. I live in St. Louis, Mo. and the rains started coming down in Nov. The grass still came up picture perfect, lush green and full. End of Jan. right now and it still looks great. GOOD PRODUCT. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Product does not work as advertised I applied this product to a damp lawn & watered it in as per the directions. 45 days later my once weed-free yard now has clover & dandelion weeds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from VG Seed for the Fall Sometime I use Rebel seeds, but most often I use Scotts Fall blend seed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Results are "as advertized" The key is following directions. I prepared the lawn as directed adding rich soil where needed, seeded at the recommended setting and fertilized with Scott’s Starter fertilizer. The lawn was lightly watered twice daily until the new grass was two inches high which took about ten days. The lawn is now thicker and greener and I am looking forward to next spring for a much improved lawn.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best seed blend Fall mix is a great selection for my area. (Pa.) great balance of of perianal rye and creeping fescues. It germinated quickly and coverage was excellent.. along with a application of Scotts starter fertilizer it filling in nicely.. My project was over seeding drought areas on my lawn .
