I am pleased with my new Nelson Traveling Sprinkler. I have an odd shaped area that has to be watered. This sprinkler handles it well. My parents had the original Nelson Traveling Sprinkler and it lasted 35 years` I hope this one will last that long!

This sprinkler to date has functioned as adveritsed
This Nelson replaced a Gilmore "John Deere" travelling sprinkler, which after 5 years wore out (it was not treated with kindness). So far, the Nelson has tracked and dragged 5/8" hose better than the Gilmore. Hopefully it will prove as durable as the Gilmore. The front body cutout makes it easier to pick up--and avoid the tendency to pick it up by the spray arm--a bad move.
