Rated 1 out of 5 by from Devastated I, too, assumed that this was teak oil. After over 100 hours of lovingly building a custom walnut vanity, I applied this product as directed and destroyed it. It absorbed unevenly and on the denser grain, left a tacky glossy sheen. My only option now is to sand it all off and try again, but my desired natural oiled finish is gone for good. Thanks to Minwax, I have many hours of painstaking labor ahead trying to salvage this piece. Minwax should take this product off the market, or be honest about what it is - a varnish, and not a very good one at that.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Product DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT! It just ruined my 25 year old rockers! I always used Watkins Teak Oil and applied it every other year on those rockers, but the local home improvement store only had Minwax brand. I assumed teak oil was all the same. Horrible what it just did to those rockers! I am so upset about this. It was so tacky to work with, in the shade on a 65 degree day too. It kept surfacing residue no matter how much I tried to wipe it off! I have no idea how to fix the raised, sticky finish. Please do not tell me I applied it incorrectly, I’ve done this at least 10 times over past 25 years on those rockers. Thank you for ruining my sentimental furniture

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Minwax Teak Oil Applied to indoor teak furniture. Never used this product before but have used other teak oil products. Minwax is junk....waiting forever for it to dry and the representative did read the instructions on the back of the can perfectly. Don't every buy this product.
