Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great emergency pump I bought this pump to evacuate a barn that was flooded during the Charleston, SC floods of October 2015 - more than 12" in 24-hours. (Hurricane Joaquin). I installed the pump in a sump created in a low point behind the barn using a 20 gallon trash can with holes drilled in the side and placed in a dug-out hole. It ran continuously for 2.5 days before water levels subsided to allow for cycling on-and-off. I was pumping through 150 ft. of 1.5" PVC pipe with good flow. This is a solid pump and worth the money
